Need Help Decorating? My Design Consultation Service Is Open Today!

Hey there!

Just a quick heads up to share that I’ve opened my design consultation services again this week, and I’m looking forward to partnering with five more people in the month of June! 🙂

There are three different types of consultations to choose from:

1. Written Consultation – $99

You send me an email about yourself/your family, describing the style you’d like to create, and at least three (large, clear) photos of your design dilemma (it can be anything: a room, a piece of furniture, an exterior, etc) and I’ll put together a detailed email that outlines everything that springs to my mind. My response will include links to products and inspiration photos that will help illustrate the ideas I share in my email. I’ll also include an inspiration board, like this:

After I send you this information, you’re welcome to reply with additional questions, and I’m happy to respond with additional ideas. Keep in mind, it’s tricky for me to help with precise furniture layout because this isn’t a “to-scale” type of consultation. It’s more about gathering color, texture, design element and decor inspiration so that you can see exactly what I’d do and choose.

2. Single Photo Consultation – $129

You send me an email about yourself/your family, the style you’d like to create, and one (large, clear) photo of your design dilemma (it can be anything: a room, a piece of furniture, an exterior, etc), and I’ll use Photoshop to modify your picture so you can see what I would recommend/what’s possible. My hope, more than anything, is that the photo I put together gets *your* creative gears turning so that you feel confident about moving forward with the project. I’ll also send you an email response with all my thoughts on everything I incorporated into the Photoshopped pic, as well as links to the specific items I used. I’ll recommend paint colors (if applicable) and sometimes I’ll also suggest back-up options in addition to the ones outlined and pictured in the photo I put together. After I send you this information, you’re welcome to reply with additional questions, and I’m happy to respond with additional ideas, but no extra photo editing is included.

Keep in mind, this is a 1-dimensional photo consultation. Not a 3-dimensional consultation that’s to-scale. This is about taking one of your (flat) photos and pasting new colors, textures, elements and decor on top of it to get your creative gears turning! 🙂

3. Three-Photo Consultation – $179

You send me a detailed email about yourself/your family, the style you’d like to create, and one (large, clear) photo of your design dilemma (again, it can be anything: a room, a piece of furniture, an exterior, etc), and I’ll use Photoshop to alter your (1) photo three completely different ways. That way, you have more options to choose from and you’ll feel more confident about moving in a specific direction because you’ll be able to *see* the things you *don’t* want to do along with the things you really do! Here’s an example of a 3-photo consultation I did recently:

I’ll also send you an email response with all my thoughts on everything I incorporated into the Photoshopped pics, as well as links to the specific items I used. I’ll recommend paint colors (if applicable) and sometimes I might also suggest other options in addition to the ones outlined and pictured in the photos I put together. After I send you this information, you’re welcome to send a reply with additional thoughts/questions, and I’m happy to respond with additional answers, but no additional photo editing is included.
