A sweet reader named Jane sent me some photos of her half bath recently and asked if I could do a little “presto change-o” action on them, using her Pinterest board as inspiration.
I haven’t blogged about a Pick My Presto in a while, so I was excited to see her email…and she had so many great pics to be inspired by!
Here are a couple of the photos Jane sent me to work on:
…and here’s what I had fun coming up with in Photoshop for her:
Here are the interactive versions for those of you on a desktop computer. Just move your cursor on and off the photos to see them presto change-o!
Since it’s a half bath, and Jane seems to reeeeally loved white wood walls, I popped those in behind the sink and in the area around the toilet. If she didn’t want to get into a lot of construction, she could use Stikwood painted white, and if she didn’t want to use real wood, she could use wallpaper that looks like wood. I would paint all of the other walls the same shade of white as the planks.
Jane said she wanted to remove the cabinet doors above the toilet, so I added some antique shutters in their place, and also pasted in one of the floor tiles she had pinned. It looks like the vanity is in pretty good shape, so maybe she could paint it black and distress it if she likes the way the one in the inspiration photo looks?
Last but not least, I popped in a blue bathroom door. It doesn’t have to be that particular color- I just wanted to give her an idea of what a pop of color would look like there. So cute with all the black and white!
I’m hoping these photos help her to see how much potential her little bathroom has…and I hope she keeps us posted on how it all comes together! 😀
