**EDITED TO ADD: All 10 spots are filled, but I look forward to opening up my services again during the first week of December! If you’d like to be notified via email when I “open shop” again, enter your email address in the box at the end of this post.**
Happy Monday!
As promised, I’m opening up my design consultation service this morning, and as always, I’m looking forward to partnering with 10 more people on projects in or outside their home. To purchase a consultation, you simply click on one of the Paypal buttons below and as soon as I’m notified that all 10 spots are filled, I’ll deactivate the buttons. If you secure one (or more) of the spots, you’ll receive an email from me within the next 24 hours with instructions on how to proceed.
There are two different types of consultations to choose from: Written & Photo. Here is a break-down of each:
1. Written Consultation – $99
You send me an email about yourself/your family, describing the style you’d like to create, and at least three (large, clear) photos of your design dilemma (it can be anything: a room, a piece of furniture, an exterior, etc) and I’ll put together a detailed email that outlines everything that springs to my mind. My response will include links to products and inspiration photos that will help illustrate the ideas I share in my email. I’ll also include an inspiration board, like this:
After I send you this information, you’re welcome to reply with additional questions, and I’m happy to respond with additional ideas. Keep in mind, it’s tricky for me to help with precise furniture layout because this isn’t a “to-scale” type of consultation. It’s more about gathering color, texture, design element and decor inspiration so that you can see exactly what I’d do and choose.

2. Photo Consultation – $149
You send me an email about yourself/your family, the style you’d like to create, and one (large, clear) photo of your design dilemma (it can be anything: a room, a piece of furniture, an exterior, etc), and I’ll use Photoshop to modify your picture so you can see what I would recommend/what’s possible. My hope, more than anything, is that the photo I put together gets *your* creative gears turning so that you feel confident about moving forward with the project. I’ll also send you an email response with all my thoughts on everything I incorporated into the Photoshopped pic, as well as links to the specific items I used. After I send you this information, you’re welcome to reply with additional questions, and I’m happy to respond with additional ideas, but no extra photo editing is included.
Keep in mind, this is a 1-dimensional photo consultation. Not a 3-dimensional consultation that’s to-scale. This isn’t about furniture arranging or layout. This is about taking one of your (flat) photos and pasting new colors, textures, elements and decor on top of it to get your creative gears turning! 🙂

I do not know if this would be a paid consultation or not. Please tell me your favorite “white” for walls with oak cabinets, floors, and furniture. Also, I have 8 ft ceilings – would you paint them the same as the walls or more of a white white? Thanks – look forward to your answers.
Layla
Hi Ramona! I always use Simply White and yes! 🙂
