Greetings!
We have some exciting news to share today! We’ve been working on something “design TV-related” for a while now, and we’re really excited about the direction it’s moving in.
Think: our blog in 3D…meaning, low-dough/high-smile room redos, real-life DIY adventures, and lots of YOU!
At this point, we need to see if you’d be into A) having us over to help you redo a room or two (or three!), and/or B) helping us redo someone’s elses space(s). (Maybe you’re a mural artist, or a seamstress, or you’d just like to lend a helping hand by painting a wall or working on a craft project with us, etc.)
We also need to know what area you live in. (City/State/Country) (You can live anywhere, and every comment will be read!)
We hoping to round up as many responses as we can in the next 48 hours, so if you’re interested, and you have time to leave a comment, please do!
We’re working with some super-talented and creative folks and they’re very interested in seeing the response to this post, so please don’t be shy, and thank you so much! We’ll definitely keep you posted and we hope to hug you soon!

I live in Minneapolis-St. Paul area (actually Stillwater, MN 55082) and would love to help on any project. I can sew and have worked with home staging & interior/exterior seasonal decorating (container gardening, window boxes, Christmas decor, etc…)
I am a huge fan of your decor style, my home reflects a similar relaxed cottage/beach style.

Oh my goodness!!! How amazing would it be for you to come and get me out of this design slump I am in in our den! It is a craft space, piano room slash office/ library all at once! Need I say more? I don’t have any rooms at the moment. Not because I’m awesome at decorating but because we are renters. I’m just chiming in to say that this is a wonderful idea and when we buy again, I would love to have you and a crew come over to help me. Absolutely! I was just showing my husband your Ezine the other day and told him I’d love to do something like those rooms to our “apartment master”…which poses TONS of limitations, but needs some desparate help. We are in Greenville, SC (just moved here with no family around) and are expecting our first little guy – which means there is a nursery involved as well! =) Unfortunately, our apartment has yet to feel like a home. Did I mention that my laundry room is a hardly able to walk-in closet and could use an amazing makeover? Or that all my kids rooms are not fantasticly large and could use some Layla love? Or did I mention that I would just do back flips to get planks put on the back wall of my bedroom behind our bed, some exposed beams put on the ceiling, an amazing light fixture to replace the HORRID ceiling fan, and something fabulous to happen in the awkward bump out!? And a strong drink to make my husband say “YES DEAR” when we ask him to paint our cherry sleigh bed with the fabulous chalk paint that just arrived in “robin’s egg blue”? I was just wondering if I had mentioned all that. Or that my office is a tangled mess of cords and boringness? Did I? Because I know if I had mentioned that… you would be here by now! :0)
Of course, I know I mentioned I can cook!!!!!!! And I know you wouldn’t forget that part! :0)

I would be absolutely flattered to have the two of you come to my home and have your pick of any room in my home to spice-up and redo. I find that doing my own home is the biggest challenge! I am in southern CA, located in Trabuco Canyon, not too far from the beach in Orange County (the OC, if you will).
I would also LOVE lend my talents to any other local projects you’ve got going. I am a DIYer, can paint, faux paint, refinish furniture, sew, bargain shop, craft, and basically figure out anything else you throw at me. Just let me know when!

I’d love both options A AND B! I’m living in a house that was built in 1877 and has great architectural details… but I’m renting and have limited options as far as decorating. And I can think of quite a few people who would love some decorating tips… dad/stepmom, BFF who’s due with her first baby in August, etc. 🙂

Oh my holy exciting!!!! Eeeeeek. Just yesterday I was thinking “I wonder if I could send Layla some photos and she could give me some pointers on what to do with my house.” We just moved into a new home (9 months ago I guess), and it’s pretty blank. So it’s rather a “do” than a “re-do.” Everything needs help, but I especially want to focus on my kids’ rooms (boy and girl). We’re big diy-ers but still need some help. We can do (almost) anything.
