Hi.
We’re Kevin and Layla Palmer. We like to take road trips, and chances, and photos of people’s places.
Late last Summer, we started putting some of our photos together in our own own little e-zine, and we’re so excited to finally release it here on our blog today! It’s short, but sweet, and we really hope you have fun flipping through it!
Click on the cover below to view the full-size, interactive issue in a separate window…
But before you click away! We both wanted to say thanks so much for taking the time to check it out, and for continually inspiring us to jump in our car with our computer and our camera. We appreciate your encouragement, and can’t tell you how much we enjoy exchanging inspiration and ideas with you!
Happy May!

PS- The links in the e-zine are live this time, so as you flip through, you can click on any of the web addresses you see. Also, to the folks have asked about hard copies- if you’re interested in printing out a copy of either of our e-zine (Summer Fun or Screened Inn) there is a print option in the top left hand corner of the screen when you’re viewing the full-size issue. Thanks again!

Hi Layla and Kevin-
I get so excited when you two publish a new e-zine. I have to take a deep breath before I go to the first page so that I can relax and savor every word. As always – I am never disappointed only inspired more. Loved every page and am going to keep that kitchen cabinet re-do idea handy.
My best- Diane
Wow! What a huge compliment, thank you so much! 🙂
Simply wonderful! We are renting a Mermaid Cottage this coming October just because of YOU and KEVIN! Thanks so much for the inspiration!
Loved every bit of it! How often will the E-Zines come out? Would love to proofread next ones for you!
This is fabulous! Love it! Great Job! Might make a trip to Tybee Island.
Fabulous e-zine! Loved it. Great job! And the strips of wood on the kitchen cabinets in the last article was genius! What a great idea. Thanks.

Love, Love, Loved it…. great job you two, keep up the amazing work that you do….can hardly wait for the next one….
You guys are SO talented! I love this ezine!! I loved Mary’s wallpaper and totally agree with her about husband’s and wives having separate bathrooms. We’ve done it since day 1 and it makes getting ready a nice experience on my own without contending with hubby’s mess. 😉
Beautiful photos and inspiration. That little cat quote is so cute!
AWESOME!!! Thank you so much for sharing. : )
Great job! I love both of your e zines! I just printed out Kate’s Orange Cake Recipe. Thanks for putting the lovely ezine together and sharing it on your blog! Have a blessed week!

It’s just beautiful!
Loved it! Do Peter and josette have a blog? I loved their updates. Loved their cabinet idea. And I fell in love with the picture of the white bed with the blue pillows and matching throw pillow and window treatments. Do you happen to know what that pattern is/where to buy? I love your ezines, love your style!
I loved what Josette and Peter did to their kitchen – do they have a website? I didnt see one on their article.
Hey Krista! They do not have a website, maybe we can talk them into starting one! 🙂
Agree! Or maybe thaey can just share with you how they did their cabinents and then you can link it on your website:)
What a beautiful ezine! You guys did a fantastic job. I just wish I could save it for future reference.

IT. IS. AWESOME!!!! Now, I just wish it was in print form so I could buy it 😉 I honestly think you are on your way there though – I know one day we will see it in the stores – you are too talented for it not to be.

Thoroughly enjoyed you e-zine! Great ‘escape-ism’ for me today! Keep doing what you are gifted to do! We love it!
Is this Elke Thompson from Palmer Alaska? This is Kristy Anderson from Palmer High. I was just looking over this AWESOME mag and saw your name, so I had to ask@ Have a great one Kristy Neeley (ANderson) at http://www.apronsandapples.blogspot.com (my crafty, decor, thrifty healthy blog 🙂
You hit it out of the park!!
I LOVED it – so many great ideas and inspiration.
It was a toss-up for my favorite part – the homemade glass holder in 99 Steps (LOVE that idea!) or the fantastic way to fix up old cabinet doors. Both are ideas I’m saving for later!
Loved it!! Great to see the Novogratz update…miss their show and look forward to the new one.
