I haven’t stayed at Ebb Tide yet, but man did we have a blast at Breeze Inn! Steevenson has been asking to go back to Tybee Island ever since our last trip there, so maybe we’ll give Ebb Tide a whirl next time.

Love Mary Kay Andrews’ books and have visited and stayed on Tybee Island several years ago. One of my favorite vacations! We took a vacation to Seattle last May and went to Puget Sound….definitely going back to the area (Queen Anne area of Seattle — great little spot!)

The first book I read by Mary Kay Andrews was Blue Christmas. I don’t have any beach resort/favorite destinations because living in Ohio, I’m hoping to read Mary Kay’s newest novel to put me on a beach and enjoy.

We spent one Christmas at a darling boutique hotel in Tulum with only 8 rooms: http://www.encantadatulum.com/ourrooms#view. It was at the end of the beach so felt remote and it was wonderful to have the beach to ourselves. I hope to go back one day.

We love to go to the beach later in the season. Mid September is less crowded and the water is still warm enough to enjoy. I always pack a book to enjoy early morning while my hubby sleeps in. The past few years we’ve really enjoyed PCB. It’s more family oriented than it was when I was younger and has lots of options for dinner.

Summer is my favorite time to read. I plow through as many books as I can before I head back to my real life as a PreK teacher in August. I would LOVE to add this one to my list.
I have been to Tybee island several times with my sister and we have loved it. We live in Williamsburg now but grew up in Virginia Beach and still spend many summer days there on a quiet little spot on the Chesapeake Bay where our mother took us when we were little and we took our own children (who now bring their children). I have read all of Mary Kay’s books and am #60 on the waiting list at our public library so I’d love a copy of her new book!

Our favorite beach destination is Long Boat Key near Sarasota. It’s absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and quiet. A great place to read a great book!

Oh My!! The Breeze in looks like such a magical place to relax, have some mom and daughter time with my mom and both my daughters! Definitely on my bucket list!! I would love to cozy up to book and a sweet cup of tea and read the day away!!

I love a good beach read! We typically love to visit SW Florida-Siesta Key, Clearwater, Sanibel, and Pine Island-to name a few!
We live a mile from the beach in N.C. But love visiting Jekyll Island in Georgia. A visit to Tybee is on the list. The restored cottages are intriguing.

I just finished reading 3 of the 4 books in the Bebe and Weezie” series, since last weekend. I got hooked and since our county did not have #3 and #4, I got another library card at a neighboring county to borrow #3….wonder if I have to county #3 to borrow book #4!! 😜
