She fixed up another old house on the same island not long ago too. She named this one Ebb Tide:
I haven’t stayed at Ebb Tide yet, but man did we have a blast at Breeze Inn! Steevenson has been asking to go back to Tybee Island ever since our last trip there, so maybe we’ll give Ebb Tide a whirl next time.

I LOVE Tybee Island! I am putting it on my summer bucket list to return to and stay at the Breeze Inn!:-) We have only been there in March for day trips when staying outside of Savannah. The Inn looks amazing! As for great vacation spots – we love Newport, RI, and Welfleet/Truro/Provincetown in Cape Cod, MA, as well as Martha’s Vineyard, MA.
I would love to read this book! We love Pawley’s Island and Isle of Palms. Tybee Island is on our bucket list to visit!

I visited Tybee island and Savannah in the spring for the first time. It was a blast and I would love to go back. Don’t you just love reading books about the beach during the summer?? It takes you away even when you’re sitting on your own front porch!! I enjoy your blog!
Love Mary Kay Andrews and read one of her books almost every summer! My favorite get away is St. Augustine FL. There are tons of cottage rentals on the beach. It is a relaxing place to get away to.
My favorite place is Topsail Island, NC. We took our first ever family vaction there with our four kids when they were small. It is just a lovely place!

I love going to Orange Beach, AL and staying at the Phoenix X condos.
Would love to read this book. In the late l960 I was a lifeguard at the beach in California. I miss the beach and the smell of the sea as I live in the Woods in New England.
My favorite beach getaway is Navarre Beach. ( my home! ) same beautiful white sand as Destin/Seaside but less traffic, less expensive and less mess. Love Kathy/MKA.. my favorite book of hers is Beach Town plus the Novella that’s a prequel to Beach Town.

Our favorite vacation retreat is St. Augustine FL! The beach is beautiful and clean and it’s one of the less crowded beaches we’ve gone too. Lots of good eating spots, we love visiting Old Town, looking in all the quirky little local shops, climbing the beautiful lighthouse, and exploring the fort. I’ve had this book on my wishlist!! My favorite beach is in Maui … and I can’t remember the exact name (I mean, really ANY beach in Maui is incredible!). It’s near a public parking area and a few resorts, which probably makes it REALLY busy during the summers, but when we went it wasn’t busy & there was a little shelter of trees where we napped & read books for the better part of 3 Days. Best vacation EVER.
