We have some exciting news to share today! We’ve been working on something “design TV-related” for a while now, and we’re really excited about the direction it’s moving in.
Think: our blog in 3D…meaning, low-dough/high-smile room redos, real-life DIY adventures, and lots of YOU!
At this point, we need to see if you’d be into A) having us over to help you redo a room or two (or three!), and/or B) helping us redo someone’s elses space(s). (Maybe you’re a mural artist, or a seamstress, or you’d just like to lend a helping hand by painting a wall or working on a craft project with us, etc.)
We also need to know what area you live in. (City/State/Country) (You can live anywhere, and every comment will be read!)
We hoping to round up as many responses as we can in the next 48 hours, so if you’re interested, and you have time to leave a comment, please do!

Oh yes! I have a livingroom which opens to a dining room (now play area) with one huge brick wall with an off center fireplace along with one wall with floor to ceiling windows that I need desperate help with!

I have a teeny-tiny kitchen that could definitely use some help! It’s got the original cabinets from the early 60s (painted white) and it’s just really blah…..I’m in Atlanta, GA.
Good golly, I NEED your help with our house! We’ve got 4 kids, 1100sf and a 1974 house that has been updated, but is in dire need of improvement. We live in Seattle (ish) and need to brighten it a lot, since we’ve hardly seen the sun since last summer (literally). Help help help! (I’ll even bake you the best cookies, pumpkin scones and chocolate peanut butter bars you’ll ever taste!).
I should also add that our master bedroom & living/dining area are the ones that hurt the most. I think I hear them crying now…

Woo! We would love for your help in re-doing some of our space(s)! We just purchased a new house in Whitman, MA – about 20 minutes south of Boston. It’s a 4 bedroom, 2bath, classic cape built in 1960. It has great bones but just needs some freshening up! We’re actually moving in this weekend and can’t wait to make our house a home for us and our hysterical 7-month old son!

Wow what a TGIFRIDAY!! I would love to welcome you to Cincinnati, Ohio! And we are sooo close to Pottery Barn , Pottery Barn Kids, Anthropolgie, and an awseome Salvage Mart!! My daughter is turning 13 July 5th and I would love your creative ideas and know how to transform her preteen pink room to a more 13ish room-what excately is that? I don’t really know but would love to explore, shop, and come up with something together! Perhaps beadboard could be involved somehow! ha ! My sister and I are up for option B! We’re both born and raised in Birmingham, but now in the Nashville, TN area. We have a vintage home furnishing hobby/business and plan to set up at the Nashville Flea Market in June. We were there last September and had wonderful time. We’re also up for a road trip!

Y’all are awesome and I would LOVE to help you re-do a room, two or three! Our house is new and I have been working to give it character. You know what I mean? Board and batten to one bedroom, breadboard through the kitchen, crown molding throughout, window trim, etc.. I am familiar with a hammer/nails, miter saw and power drill.
I fall short in the last stage though- the pull it all together- decorate it with pops of color, etc. (Layla- you have a gift!!!)
My family and I live in Greensboro NC and would jump at any chance to be a part of this exciting adventure!
Oh yes yes yes! (-: I painted my living room dark & dreary (cause I was in a dark space in my life… lol) Now I wanna BRIGHTEN THINGS UP! 😉 Yay Me! The rooms are HUGE! Living room with a wood burning stove, dining room (the biggest room in the house), using it as an office space and dining area. Two full baths need MAJOR WORK. ugh. I need help!

My girl’s room! We had 2 biological children and then we added to our family 2 years ago when we adopted Ava from China. Now my girls share a room. Lauren is 9 and Ava 4. They do very well together considering the age difference. It just seems so busy in there and some sweet cottage inspired bedroom would be just dreamy!!

YES, YES, and YES! We are in the Seattle/Tacoma, WA area in a 12 year old subdivision — homes have cute curb appeal, but definitely need some help to add character inside! I’ve done some things here and there, but we have a challenging shaped entry way crying out for help, a kitchen that needs updating (I am taking inspiration from your painted cabinets) help getting rid of the dreaded “tract-home” look/feel, and happily any other room you’d be so inclined to makeover! If you haven’t been to the Northwest, come on by! We’ve got tons of cute places to stay, eat, shop, etc. — a favorite of mine was a recent stay at the Oregon coast in Gearhart, OR (a few hours south of our place.) Ohhh! Me, me! I am in Irving (DFW area), Texas and I would LOVE to have you come help me! My traditional style home with our contemporary furniture from our previous house is just not meshing and I cannot figure out how to decorate it. I am stuck and am desperate for some help! We are not doing the crown molding and dark wood floors justice.

We are adopting from China so we had to finish our basement to make room. Right now it is a blank slate with only drywall, mud tape and texture. I have plans to do industrial/cottage decor. We have some very fun stores and salvage opportunities here in Spokane, WA. I have been having fun shopping and hunting for my very first Salvaged for Good sale (see my blog for more info) and i know you would love here!

Pick us, PLEASE! We live near Harrisburg, PA, in a 1950’s split. We’ve redone some of the house, but have a dining room which was added on in the 1970s and just doesn’t match the rest of the house. We also have a small covered porch which has been really problematic. I won’t even go into the horrid landscaping….
I’m happy to help do whatever – I can sew, paint, and follow orders. My husband is very handy. We’re just not great coming up w/ ideas and really need direction. I also have two bio sons (23 and 21 – and strong! I’m volunteering them to help, even though they are unaware…) and one adopted (Russia) daughter.
