Happy Friday, y’all!
I know many of you joined me for the inaugural “HomeGoods Hump Day” this past Wednesday, but for those who couldn’t view the series, I saved the videos to my phone, sent them to my email inbox, downloaded them to my computer, edited them together in Adobe Premier, and uploaded the video to YouTube. Click the play button if you’d like to watch!
It was so much fun y’all!
I’m thinking I may switch it up and do “Hobby Lobby Hump Day” and “H&M Hump Day” sometimes since I love to wander around those places too. Either way, I’ll always try to put together a group of five ideas that are fun, affordable and easy to create no matter where you shop. Even if it’s your house! 🙂
Have a great weekend!
Layla
PS- Can you leave me a comment if you’d like me to post these on my blog every week? Like I mentioned above, it is a bit time consuming, but if there’s enough interest, I’m more than happy to include them! XO

I love your videos and would love to see these on a regular basis. You make shopping fun!
Loved it!
Thanks for sharing here on the blog! Looking forward to more posts.
I loved your ideas Layla! Please do it again, but not necessary to do every week. You do have a life. 😉
Home Goods, H&M, & Hobby Lobby are stores I like, but don’t get to very often. I like seeing their offerings through your eyes.
I would Love to see the blog each Wednesday! Thank you for the effort and hard work! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your Family!
Love the decorating ideas! I never thought of doing plates/platters with decals/decorations to hang on the wall, this solves a problem I was having with a wall in my kitchen.
Loved the ideas, especially the tray.
I loved it! Great ideas!
I liked it, too, especially when the ladies recognized you–:) ! Hope it works out!
Yes! I liked the video and your skin looked amazing. I’m not on Instagram so keep posting to your blog. If you have enough vidoes you could start a YouTube Channel.
Oh, and I have a huge wall of white, old, chippy platters on the wall above my breakfast table. I love it, and it really looks farmhous-ey!
I think the videos are great!! I love your creativity! Hope it’s not to hard for you to do it every week though. Just know we will understand if you’re not feeling up to it!
I love HomeGoods. Im thinking i need some of those baskets! I really dont know how to decorate with them, but sure could try em out. Thanks for the neat video..
Yes! Every week! I haunt Home Goods in two different locations and have gotten amazing deals. Thanks for sharing.
Loved the video. Please post on blog!
Thank you, and I hear you, friend! 😀
Yes! It might be a good thing there aren’t any Home Goods close to where I live.
Oh- these are ideas you can apply anywhere you shop…even if you’re just shopping the house! 😀
Yes, yes, yes! Loved it.
Loved the video! The ending cracked me up.
Thank you, Peg! 😀
OMG! Thank you soooo much for doing that! What fun! I also loved it when you shared the prices. And if you really want people to look and wonder what you are doing…..I would love to see what you are wearing, too. I know…..I just want it all!
Thanks for the encouragement, Patty! 😀
I watch on Instagram but it’s nice/easier when wanting to go back and watch again for it to be on the blog. I LOVE the idea of H&M Hump Day!!

Lisa
Keeping it simple.
Love. Love. Love.
ME
I just loved it!
I LOVE HUMP DAY! How fun to be recognized as Steevensons mom too! Oh my Golly. That would have made my day! I like the tray on the top btw. Love you and can hardly wait until next HUMP DAY!
I hope you continue to put these on the blog!
Loved the video. Post them on your blog please.
That was really fun. 🙂 Please keep posting videos to your blog for those of us who don’t have Instagram and miss out on your stories. Loved it – thanks, Layla!
YES, for the love of all things decoratory (that’s not a real word) please post the videos on your blog! I still choose to live in the dark ages (can you say flip phone?) and can’t view the videos otherwise. Also, I could live vicariously through you as our HomeGoods closed several months back. When I got wind they were closing, I almost got down on the floor right there in the store and had myself a big ole fit. I came very, very close. Bitter…..it’s not a big enough word!!!
THANK YOU from the many, many of us who can’t get Instgram Stories! Loved the video! Keep up the series!
Loved the video and would love to see it on the blog. Thanks!
Thoroughly enjoyed the video, and really hope you keep putting them on the blog!
I loved this, and having it here is best for me. Sometimes I am not able to find time to look at Instagram ( and I’m finding it doesn’t always show me the most recent posts unless I visit the individuals’ page!) I have Chrome, and it’s limiting me. But I don’t know if you need to do every week….you have other things to do, I’m sure, just like the rest of us! I loved the platter you also liked, and your tips for the artwork comes in handy. Thanks!
Yes to the videos on the blog whenever you have the time!
I loved this post!
Loved it!!!!!!!!
Love the stories Layla. Maybe you could just do a post with photos of your tips along with inspiration photo of how/where to use them to cut down on your work.
I really enjoy this! Thank you so much!
Ps. I am in Australia & we don’t have those stores but I still get inspiration from you & the posts.
PPS. Those stores need to give you a job styling vignettes or paid demonstration days/nights in their store where you do these tips by shopping their store.
I loved them and would love it if you could do them every week, but then I love everything you do! You’re so adorable and fun to watch.
I finally figured out that the Instastories can only be watched on my phone and now I’m completely addicted.
Thank you for being such a cheerful part of my day.
Thank you, Kathy! Like I mentioned in the post, Instagram stories can be watched on computers now too. You just have to search the words “how to watch Instagram Stories on a computer” on Google to find the tutorials that explain how to do it. XO
Steeveson’s mom YOU ROCK! I hope to see more of your HAPPY videos.
loving them here in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada – thank you “Steevenson’s mom!!”
Pretty please with jelly on top keep doing these videos. I love them! Your ideas are very helpful and the way you describe and show pictures is very understandable and make sense. Thank you for sharing your time. Xoxo
Loved the tour! What fun ideas! So can you make a mini Layla to go shopping with me… maybe those great ideas will pop into my head when I’m browsing aisles !!!
Yes! I’d love to see it on the blog. I’m not on social media enough to catch everything. I love seeing what you would choose and how you would use it.
