Last Friday was f-u-n, fun.
We rode up and down escalators…
…and ate Swedish meatballs and mashed pa-taters…
We tripped out on trays…
…and smiled at striped duvets…
We sipped tea on aisle four…
…and found lots of little goodies, all over the store…
We got hid our hands in our bags, and sang with invisible mics…
We ran into unbelievable prices that made me say “yikes!”
When we were done at Ikea, we headed over to Borders. We sat on the floor, and counted our quarters. (Not really….it just rhymed.)
We met lots of cool folks hanging out in the store…
…and I’ll never forget seeing this guy and his family stroll in through the door…
We had a blast chatting it up with the incomparable Miss Ree…
…and I had her sign an extra copy of her book, with love from TLC…

Oh my! The ‘meeting of the blogs’! Two of my favourite! Love, love, love that love story! This is a wonderful little surprise while surfing tonight. I don’t even know if ‘Friday’ has come or gone cos I didn’t look at the date. I just had to say something. I’m from the ‘land downunder’ where it is too expensive to post to anyway, but I just had to leave a comment. I love the way both of you decorate so much. Well, this is sorta depressing to me seeing all these comments. I like reading them, it’s just that I know the chances of winning are so slim. It’s like winning the lottery now.
Anywho, I got to see (hear, rather) PW recently, but was so disappointed b/c I couldn’t have her autograph my cookbook. We are in the middle of a move and my husband packed away my cookbooks and they are someplace in storage right now. Winning her book would be awesome!
