Last Friday was f-u-n, fun.
We rode up and down escalators…
…and ate Swedish meatballs and mashed pa-taters…
We tripped out on trays…
…and smiled at striped duvets…
We sipped tea on aisle four…
…and found lots of little goodies, all over the store…
We got hid our hands in our bags, and sang with invisible mics…
We ran into unbelievable prices that made me say “yikes!”
When we were done at Ikea, we headed over to Borders. We sat on the floor, and counted our quarters. (Not really….it just rhymed.)
We met lots of cool folks hanging out in the store…
…and I’ll never forget seeing this guy and his family stroll in through the door…
We had a blast chatting it up with the incomparable Miss Ree…
…and I had her sign an extra copy of her book, with love from TLC…

How fun! I would have loved to meet Ree and tagged along on your IKEA excursion – my hubby rolls his eyes and groans when I drag him to IKEA. As a result, we make it to IKEA every few years. 🙁

Oh that looks like an enchanting day! I love Ikea, Ree, and girl days(although its been awhile!) My sister and I were going to go to the Columbus signing but …my babies were sick! Can’t wait to see what you found at Ikea!

Oh girls…what a fun day!! I live about 45 minutes out of Atlanta and would have loved to have been with you! Cannot believe I have never been to IKEA, but it is definitely on my “to do” list!! Oh my!!! I would love to win…and I would have LOVED meeting Ree, but the closest she came to my town would have been a 8 hr drive (one way!) and I just couldnt make it…hoping for a closer visit the next time around.
