I haven’t stayed at Ebb Tide yet, but man did we have a blast at Breeze Inn! Steevenson has been asking to go back to Tybee Island ever since our last trip there, so maybe we’ll give Ebb Tide a whirl next time.

Oh my gosh. I love her books!!!! I started reading her after I found out she had spoken at my church’s Author’s Tea! I had no idea she owned that cute cottage on Tybee Island. I have Savannah Blues up next to read.

I’ve only been to Tybee once and loved it! We live in Alabama (near Birmingham) so we usually stay somewhere on the Gulf (Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Seaside/30A area, if possible). One of my absolute favorite beach trips was to Melbourne Beach on the Atlantic side of Florida. It was the week of the 4th of July and there were sea turtles on the beach each morning laying eggs then lumbering back into the ocean. Best experience ever! Thanks for making me relive that memory a little this morning and thanks for the opportunity to win the book!

Being from New England, my favorite beachy areas are on Cape Cod. I’ve always wanted to visit Tybee, though, and those houses are just calling my name!!

I love Mary Kay’s books and love Tybee Island but never stayed in one the homes there . We love Hilton Head and it’s close to Tybee so we can visit! Beach vacations are the best!
We love visiting the beaches near Melbourne, FL…mostly because we stay with family that lives there! It’s such a nice area and not too touristy.
About 30 years ago I lived on Tybee Island for a couple of years. It’s a great place. I’ve actually never read any of Mary Kay Andrews’ books but have heard great reviews. Her houses are adorable. I may need to plan a Tybee trip.
We visit Panama City Beach, FL twice a year. We stay in PCB and visit the beach towns on 30A (Seaside and Grayton Beach are my favs). Our favorite place to stay in PCB is Sterling Breeze condos. They are on the west end (quieter & less congested). We also go out of season, early May and October. October is perfect weather. I could eat fresh seafood everyday!
After listening to you talk about Mary Kay and this book I am so interested in reading it.
I would love to win this book! How fun. Lately I’ve been telling my husband we should visit Tybee Island. He’s very interested in checking it out!! We typically stay in Destin, FL. We go on a vacation rental site and get a house big enough for the whole family and love it. The water and beaches are beautiful.
I love Savannah and Tybee Island! My mom grew up there and we visited many times when I was growing up! My favorite vacation spot is Door County, WI. The scenery, flowers and cool summer temps make it ideal. Love your blog!!

Ebb Tide is adorable (oh, that turquoise floor!) and Tybee Island is definitely on my must see list. I love Destin and have fond memories of South Padre when my parents would take me there as a child of the 70s.
I have never been to either of these places, but I adore her restorations! My husband and I are almost finished restoring our 101 year old home!I look forward to reading the new book!

We’re heading out for our annual “lake week” vacation at Indian Lake, Ohio tonight! My husband’s family has been going there his whole life. His grandfather played in a big band there in the summers back in the day.

Our favorite beach spot is a little island in the Bahamas, but we more frequently go to our family beach cottage in North Myrtle Beach. We’re currently renovating it and I’ve already gotten some ideas from your blog!! I’ve also had The High Tide Club on my book list but haven’t gotten it yet! Pick me!! Haha

Our favorite vacation place has been a twenty-year tradition. We go to the family-owned Agate Lake Resort near Nisswa, Minnesota. There is nothing we would change about this great place!

I love MK’s books! I have a friend who just bought a house on St. George Island. It is beautiful. Living in Ft. Walton Beach, FL and down the road from Destin, FL I’m lucky to live near some of the most beautiful beaches in the world.
When I was a kid we would go to Rhyll, on Phillip Island here in Victoria, Australia. The memories of the fishing boats, the salty air, the noise of the gulls and the sea, the elongated deep red/orange sunsets, the sneaky late nights giggling of feather pillow fights with my sister….oh the memories come flooding back when I have seen your posts in the past of Tybee Island. Mary is one lady I think I would love to share an afternoon with! I really enjoy her style. I live near mountains now, but wish so much to be by the sea.
