Since I’m hosting a local event this weekend, I thought I’d share a post about one of my favorite local designers- Ashley Gilbreath.
She owns an interior design firm and shop here in Montgomery…
…and the pictures of her interiors are always so much fun to stare at! I’ve been intrigued by this photo of the shower nook she created in her (old) guest bedroom ever since I first saw it:
She sold that house before I got to see it in person, so if the new owner happens to be reading this- call me! I want to come check it out! LOL! 😀

Beautiful! All of it. My favorites are the amoire bathroom and renovated bedroom. All the white in the bedroom really opens the space up.

The shower nook looks amazing, but I have to wonder about the practicality of it. Wouldn’t the wood of the doors warp with the steam and water? I also wonder about the floor grate. It looks like it would still get the surrounding wood floors wet, but maybe I just need a different view.
I DO hope the new owners contact you. I’m intrigued by that shower nook!

Not that I am rich, but I did bid and win on a design consultation with Ashley (Armchair Auction for Shakespere Theater) a couple of years ago. She gave me lots of good ideas for my whole house and then we bought some items from her to help finish off our living room. She is so talented AND a super person to boot. I love following her career. Thanks for posting those photos of her newest project.
