Well, this is it! The last day voting is open on the Annie Selke Rug Design Challenge!
I’ve been mentioning it in my posts for the last couple of weeks because MAN would it be an honor to have one (or more) of my submissions made into an actual, real-life rug next year!
If you missed it in previous posts (so, so sorry to those who didn’t and have had to hear about this so many times!), these are the three designs I submitted:
I called the first one Octogram Star, the second one Homer Hardware, and the third one Vintage Floral Stripe. They were inspired by antique cement tile, a historic advertising mural and some vintage cross-stitched strips, respectively.
So since it’s the last day of voting (the challenge ends at 9pm EST tonight), I thought I’d share a few more inspiration pics I put together in Photoshop that show what the rugs would sort of look like in rooms:

I guess I’m really technologically challenged, but- how did you do the Shayla part!? I kept watching to try to figure out how you manipulated the video. Creepy, I wasn’t expecting that face and voice! Good job on your “skit”. Just don’t show it to Steevenson, bet he’d have nightmares for a month! I just may have a few, myself, lol.
