Okay! It’s t-shirt day! 😀
Like I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve had this (day)dream to create a line of Lettered shirts for a while now, so today marks Day 1 of my trial run and I’m so grateful for the Opportunity to see how this all goes…or doesn’t go- LOL! 😀
The shirts are made by Next Level and we chose them because they are SO soft! They’re 50% Polyester/25% Cotton/25% Rayon and we didn’t notice that they shrunk much at all after we washed and dried them. They are unisex t-shirts, and both Kevin and I are wearing mediums in our photos. Here’s a sizing graph that may be helpful too:

HPS stands for “High Point of Shoulder”, so that measurement is from the very top of the shoulder down to the bottom of the shirt.
(If you have any other questions about the shirts, please feel free to ask in the comment section below and I’ll get back to you with an answer a.s.a.p!)
You’ll be redirected to pages where you can select the quantity and size, and you can pay for your purchase with Paypal or a credit card.
The sale will end next Monday morning at 9am CST so that we can email our entire order off to to Mammoth Printshop.
They’ll be printing them up from March 24-28, and then Kevin and I will start shipping them out after that. (between April 1-5) Purchasers in the US should receive their t-shirt(s) before or during the second week of April. If you have any questions regarding the shipment of our shirt, just drop me a line at LaylaPalmer (at) aol (dot) com.

If you missed my post about how God encouraged me to split the proceeds from these shirts, you can read about that here: Two T-shirts.
The couple I mentioned in that post were so excited & thankful, and I was so touched when I read what Stacy wrote on her blog the next day:
“There have been so many conversations in our house during these last few months as we have worked through the paperwork trail, again. One of the biggest challenges this go-around was that when we felt God leading us to change from Ethiopia to Haiti, and we knew it was going to be another challenge to our finances. This second dossier was not something that was in our financial plan, but we were confident that it was in His plan. As we were nearing the end of our dossier and coming up on another big payment, God made it very clear to my heart one day, just last week, that He called us to adopt, and that He would provide the finances. I felt it so clearly that I immediately burst into tears. I knew that He would provide.
So, today my little man and I made a trip to the post office and happily mailed off our dossier. With it, went a huge chunk of our savings. But, there was peace in my heart. Then, we ran a few more errands and came home to eat lunch together. As I finished my lunch, I received a text from my friend, Layla (who goes to our church and is also adopting from Haiti! How cool is that?!), and she asked if she could share my blog on her blog. So, laughing a little in my head at how infrequently I blog, I said “Sure!”. Why not, right?
It wasn’t until about an hour later, when little man was down for a nap, and I had a moment to sit down, that I decided to spend some time catching up on Layla’s blog. Her post ended with me in a puddle of tears. The very puddle I had joked about on Facebook earlier. God, in all His goodness, had laid our family on Kevin and Layla’s hearts, and we were about to be the beneficiary of a blessing we never saw coming. I will never get over it when people tell me that God has laid us on their hearts. While they were praying through their own dilemma, He was assuring me He was taking care of ours. What an absolute joy it is to be a part of the plan He has for our lives. He has already convinced me that He is writing a much better story than I could have ever dreamed up.”

(Neal, Stacy and their kiddos!)
I used to feel like I was dragging my feet on this t-shirt line idea, but now I sort of think it was supposed to launch this way all along! 😀
So, on behalf of Neal and Stacy and their family, and Kevin and our Sweet P down there at Three Angels Children’s Relief, thank you so much to anyone who purchases a shirt this week! Our families appreciate your kindness more than you’ll ever know!

YAY! Finally got it to work…got both! 🙂
Would the medium e about a size 10-12 ? Thank you.
Hi KC!
I’m not sure, but I just added a size chart to the post. Hope that helps and thank you so much for your encouragement! 🙂
Hi Layla,
I have tried ordering and noticed it was size xl….then I went back and read your comment, so I tried to update my cart and I have 6 t-shirts in my cart 🙁 I would love to order that many but my budget cant afford that–I was only wanting 1-can you suggest how I can correct? Smiles, Jackie
Hi Jackie! I’m sorry about the inconvenience. Our IT guy is still trying to work out all the unexpected kinks, but I’m thinking you’ll just need to change the number of shirts in your shopping cart. Seems like I remember a red X next to the extra shirt in my shopping cart this morning, so I just clicked the X next to the shirt we wanted to delete. Hope that helps and thank you so much for your support! 🙂
Just ordered the “Daydream” shirt. Can’t wait to get it! I’m looking for info about choosing a paint color and lightening it by 50%. I can’t find the post about it. Can you direct me?
Thanks Cindy! And, yes, here’s a link to the Lightening/Darkening Paint post: https://theletteredcottage.net/how-to-lighten-or-darken-paint/
(I Google “lighten darken paint lettered cottage” whenever I need to get to it quick- LOL!) 😀
Just ordered my “daydream” shirt. Just wanted to show my support for the enjoyment your blog and Kevin’s camera tutorials gives me.
I just picked up my t-shirt and I’m so excited! Love the story and the journey behind it. We are sending prayers to both of your families.
By the way……Kevin’s camera tutorials rock!! I’m learning so much and loving every minute of it. 🙂
Hi Layla! Just ordered my t-shirts and I am so excited to get them! My hubby and I are praying for you, your hubby and your sweet baby boy! I was wondering if you’d thought about baby/toddler size t-shirts/onesies? I have a little guy and would love to one for him! Just a thought:) Romans 8:25- God bless!!!
Hi! Love the t-shirts and your blog.
Hope the adoption goes well. Thank you for being so inspiring both with your renos and beautiful spirit.
Hi Layla! Thank you for your post, as well as Stacy’s post. I purchased the “Send Me” t-shirt for a 16-year-old daughter of a friend – she has a heart for the Lord and has felt called into missions. She will be leaving for a mission trip to Uganda this summer! I can’t wait to give the t-shirt to her, and tell her your story as well. God bless you!
Got one for myself and my friend who has 8 children, 3 of whom are special needs and adopted from over seas! Thanks for letting me help 🙂
Just ordered a shirt for my Mom! Luckily, I needed a Medium so no issues ordering. My Mom has 4 adopted children, 7 kids all together (including me). She always said she was called to adopt. Two of my brothers are Asian. She would love your story and I need to share it with her so I thought getting her a shirt would be a great gift to her and you. My sister and two of her boys are in Haiti right now and she assured me they would be going by Three Angels, like they always do. My sister goes 4 or 5 times a year with her church. I’ve shared your story with her and she is so happy for y’all. She and a friend sponsor a little girl there named Paula and they always go by to visit her when they’re there.
Can’t wait to see what else God has in store for your family!
Hi there 🙂
With the shirts lying flat, could you please give the width measurements of the t-shirts for sizing. Thank you so much 🙂
Hi Jackie!
I just added a little size chart to my post. Let me know if that helps! 🙂
Hey Layla! I ordered my shirt today 🙂 I’m so happy that there has been such a response to the t-shirts! Nothing is impossible for God and when it is his will then he will orchestrate a way. Praying that the remainder of your adoption journey goes smoothly and that in no time at all Sweet P will be in your arms. Children are such a precious gift and I am overjoyed that you and Kevin are finally going to experience parenthood. God Bless you!
Just ordered! I rarely wear t-shirts, but wanted to help. Hope this is wildly successful!

Thanks
Jenn
Yep! There’s an option for Canadian shipping too, Jennifer! Thank you for checking with me! 🙂 XO
I went through and saw the Canada shipping, but it at the end said sorry there was no shipping to Canada? Let me know! thanks for responding so quickly!
Jenn
Sure thing, Jennifer! I’ve seen some Canadian orders come through, so I’ll check with my IT guy about why it may not be working for you. This tech stuff is mind boggling to me! 😀
Layla!!! I am so excited to support you in this and I am surprising my man with this tee too! The message “Here I am, send me” is his heart and has been driving him for the past few years. He is going to LOVE it. I am so thrilled for you guys- it’s been pure joy watching this process the past couple of years. God is good!
Sasha
Hey Layla, I love the shirts! I am trying to order a “day dream” shirt and when I add it to the cart, it says I have added “two send” me shirts. I’ll keep trying as I know the IT guy is working on it.
Thanks, Lisa
Hey Layla, I got it to work and my order went thru! Let the dancing commence!!! Can’t wait to get the shirt. Also, I wanted to let you know that I was your “pick your Presto” kitchen and we finally are removing the cabinets above the bar this week. Yippee!
Just checked today and although I can order from Canada, I can’t ship there yet. Any chance that will change? 🙂
It should be all fixed now, Janet! Sorry about that! XO
I’m IN! I ordered the Day Dream! So Happy to Support such a great cause!
Got mine, thanks so much 🙂
Love this inspirational idea! I just ordered my Don’t Quit Your Daydream shirt, and can’t wait to wear it as I paint furniture and work on my clients’ orders! Sharing this on my Facebook page, too, so that others can hear about this fundraiser!
Hi, just wondering if there’s any chance of having a shirt or two shipped to Australia? They look awesome!
Kylie
Sure thing, Kylie! Let me check on the shipping rate and I’ll get back to you asap! Thank you! 😀
Love both shirts! Would have ordered both but not a fan of gray! Any chance “Here I am” is going to come in a different color soon? ANd I would love the “Daydream” on the back of a sweatshirt.
Hi Layla, I’m also from Canada and would love to be able to purchase a t-shirt..firstly, I would be happy to support your adoption(s) for sure as I have two wonderful great nephews from Korea who have been a blessing in all our lives, and two…I’ll never give up my daydream and I want everyone to know it!!
Hope you will support Canadian orders soon!
All the best!
Wen
Hi Wendy!
We actually added that option a couple of days ago, so you should be all good to go! 🙂 Thank you SO much for your support…and HIGH FIVE to never giving up! XO
Thank you so much for organising international shipping! I ordered one, looking forward to wearing it and being a part of the TLC family 😉
G.
I couldn’t decide on the size (an XL to wear over leggins or X w/jeans). So – bought 2. Even thought I get 2 shirts – I’m thinking of it as one shirt purchase for each family 🙂
I cant believe I missed it!! I just went to order and its closed 🙁 Last week got so busy. Is there anyway to order 2 ” here I am send me” t shirts…. need for 2 teenagers doing the centerpoint mission trip this summer.
I am so sad I missed this! I wanted one sooooo badly : /. Any chance there will be a second round???
just checking on when the shirts will ship? getting worried i used an old address!

Hi! I am so psyched to receive my shirt in the mail. LOVE IT!!!
However, I ordered a Med. but it is too big–wondering if anyone ordered and small and would like to swap? Let me know.
