Okay! It’s t-shirt day! 😀
Like I mentioned in a previous post, I’ve had this (day)dream to create a line of Lettered shirts for a while now, so today marks Day 1 of my trial run and I’m so grateful for the Opportunity to see how this all goes…or doesn’t go- LOL! 😀
The shirts are made by Next Level and we chose them because they are SO soft! They’re 50% Polyester/25% Cotton/25% Rayon and we didn’t notice that they shrunk much at all after we washed and dried them. They are unisex t-shirts, and both Kevin and I are wearing mediums in our photos. Here’s a sizing graph that may be helpful too:

HPS stands for “High Point of Shoulder”, so that measurement is from the very top of the shoulder down to the bottom of the shirt.
(If you have any other questions about the shirts, please feel free to ask in the comment section below and I’ll get back to you with an answer a.s.a.p!)
You’ll be redirected to pages where you can select the quantity and size, and you can pay for your purchase with Paypal or a credit card.
The sale will end next Monday morning at 9am CST so that we can email our entire order off to to Mammoth Printshop.
They’ll be printing them up from March 24-28, and then Kevin and I will start shipping them out after that. (between April 1-5) Purchasers in the US should receive their t-shirt(s) before or during the second week of April. If you have any questions regarding the shipment of our shirt, just drop me a line at LaylaPalmer (at) aol (dot) com.

If you missed my post about how God encouraged me to split the proceeds from these shirts, you can read about that here: Two T-shirts.
The couple I mentioned in that post were so excited & thankful, and I was so touched when I read what Stacy wrote on her blog the next day:
“There have been so many conversations in our house during these last few months as we have worked through the paperwork trail, again. One of the biggest challenges this go-around was that when we felt God leading us to change from Ethiopia to Haiti, and we knew it was going to be another challenge to our finances. This second dossier was not something that was in our financial plan, but we were confident that it was in His plan. As we were nearing the end of our dossier and coming up on another big payment, God made it very clear to my heart one day, just last week, that He called us to adopt, and that He would provide the finances. I felt it so clearly that I immediately burst into tears. I knew that He would provide.
So, today my little man and I made a trip to the post office and happily mailed off our dossier. With it, went a huge chunk of our savings. But, there was peace in my heart. Then, we ran a few more errands and came home to eat lunch together. As I finished my lunch, I received a text from my friend, Layla (who goes to our church and is also adopting from Haiti! How cool is that?!), and she asked if she could share my blog on her blog. So, laughing a little in my head at how infrequently I blog, I said “Sure!”. Why not, right?
It wasn’t until about an hour later, when little man was down for a nap, and I had a moment to sit down, that I decided to spend some time catching up on Layla’s blog. Her post ended with me in a puddle of tears. The very puddle I had joked about on Facebook earlier. God, in all His goodness, had laid our family on Kevin and Layla’s hearts, and we were about to be the beneficiary of a blessing we never saw coming. I will never get over it when people tell me that God has laid us on their hearts. While they were praying through their own dilemma, He was assuring me He was taking care of ours. What an absolute joy it is to be a part of the plan He has for our lives. He has already convinced me that He is writing a much better story than I could have ever dreamed up.”

(Neal, Stacy and their kiddos!)
I used to feel like I was dragging my feet on this t-shirt line idea, but now I sort of think it was supposed to launch this way all along! 😀
So, on behalf of Neal and Stacy and their family, and Kevin and our Sweet P down there at Three Angels Children’s Relief, thank you so much to anyone who purchases a shirt this week! Our families appreciate your kindness more than you’ll ever know!

Any chance you will offer shipping to Canada? LOVING that day dream shirt.
Also as a side note, when I added an XL to my cart (before realizing no Cdn shipping) it added as a MED. not sure if you have a minor size glitch?
Good luck!!! 🙂
Hi Janet! I just asked my tech friend to look into adding a Canadian shipping option to the dashboard, and he’s going to check on that size glitch too. Thanks for the heads up, and I’ll get back to you soon! XO
Awesome!! I will keep watching. 🙂
Hi Layla
I just tried to order an XXL and the purchasing page said I chose a size Medium. I would love to buy a shirt, but I can’t risk getting a Medium (although I wish 🙂
-Donna K.
Thank you, Donna! I’ve got my tech friend looking into that glitch now! 😀
I just ordered my T shirt!!!!!!!! I got the “Don’t forget you Daydream”. I am so honored to support you and your hubby and the other sweet family, as well! Wish I could do more. Praying all goes as God plans for bringing those “sweet bundles of joy” to you and your friend!
Blessings on this gorgeous day!
Cindy~ p.s. had to tweek my order a few times to get the correct size but I got it! No problems!
I would love a shirt too, the don’t quit your day dream shirt….but the cart keeps giving me a medium instead of small. Can I just order and comment with SMALL when I check out? Thanks!
Blessings, Grace
HI Grace! So sorry about that. We have our IT guy looking into it. It looks like it’s a browser issue. It’s not changing the size when we try it on our computer, but our IT guy said it’s doing it with a Firefox browser (not Chrome or Safari). He is working to get it fixed now, so hopefully that glitch will be fixed soon! 😀
Kevin
Thanks for the response. Got it ordered today and everything looked great. I can’t wait to get and wear this shirt, and I am thrilled to be able to help you and the other sweet family along your adoption journeys. Many blessings, Grace
Layla – I am having the same problem with ordering an XL. It says M. While my day dream is to be a size medium again…reality says otherwise.
I would love this t-shirt for my husband. I tried to order an xl but it keeps saying small. How do order the xl? Praying for you and your sweet angel!
I put an XL in my cart and it says Medium too??
Hi Layla!
I lalalove this shirt. I’m trying to order but it isn’t excepting the correct size. It keeps defaulting to a med. Can you help?
Thanks!
Pamela
Well, I got mine! I’m so thankful to be just a small part, of such a BIG plan! I can’t wait to see who else I run in to, wearing the “Day Dream Shirt”! It’s sort of like a family reunion t-shirt….it links us all together, like the one big family that we are! Bless you, Keven and Sweet P on this awesome journey!
hello! I am trying to order a small in the blue shirt and a large in the grey shirt, but the cart is only recognizing mediums in the blue shirt and I am unable to change the size, or the shirt style. Is there a way I can manually order? Thanks! God Bless!
HI Dayna! So sorry about that. It looks like it’s an issue with certain browsers. It’s not changing the size when we try it on our computer, but our IT guy said it’s doing it when people use Firefox as their browser. He is working to get it fixed now, so hopefully he’ll have it fixed soon! -Kevin
Got one! Thanks, they look awesome!
Thank you, Deb!!! XOXOX
So trying to check out…I clicked the paypal button but seems to be thinking for long time. Are you fixing the site this morning 7:30 AM PST?
Thanks, Lisa! 😀 It *should* be all fixed now!
It finally finished after a few minutes.
Best Monday ever!! Can’t wait to see how many gajillions of shirts you sell! What a blessing you are, Layla!
I am trying to order a small “Don’t Quit your Daydream” t shirt. When I add it to my cart, it says XXL. I have tried 3 times. I would really like to order one. Can you help? 🙂
Just ordered my day dream shirt!! I’m happy that the purchase is for such a good cause and I’m also happy that it will inspire me. I just retired and have so many things to look forward to. Love, Love, Love your blog. Thank you.
Hey Sweetie! I tried to order a “day dream” shirt in a large but every time I got to the checkout part it showed an XXL! So I didn’t order, but I’d love one! Let me know the best way to proceed! So excited for y’all and happy to “support” in this small way!
Also – I use Safari browser, if that helps!
AND… it just worked! Super excited!
I’m using Safari and was trying to order medium but it’s saying XL in the cart.
I am having the same problem about size, but i don’t use firefox.
I click on XL, but get XXl. Hope it gets fixed soon!
Do these run pretty similar size wise to a regular t-shirt? I usually wear a small but looking at you (you seem small to me 🙂 I’m wondering if I need a medium. Is the medium long on you? Just want to make sure to get the right size! Thanks! Can’t wait to get it!
I am still having problems with the sizing on the shopping cart. I am trying to order two M and one S and it keeps putting an XXL in my cart. I love these shirts!!
I just tried to order one style shirt and it put the other shirt in my basket and in an XXL size. It doesn’t appear to be fixed…
Layla,
I am using Internet explorer as a Browser and I am trying to order a XL and it keeps giving me XXL. Are you still working on fixing this problem?
I really want to order a shirt.
Hi Cheryl!
You may need to clear your cache/history in order to view the newly-fixed site. Hope that helps and thank you so much for your support! XO
I don’t think your shopping cart is working I am trying to order 2 medium shirts and it keeps coming up 1 xl
Can you help?
Would the large be about a 10-12? Thanks! Love the shirts.
When I’m adding an XL, it’s adding the XXL?
thanks!
Score! Just ordered my shirt. SO happy to be part of this process AND get a cool shirt to boot!
I had to fiddle a bit to get the right size ordered to ie. kept getting an XL instead of an L in cart. Just remove/update cart and wait a minute. Then make sure you click outside size box AFTER choosing your size. Maybe it defaults to the next size up if not done correctly?
Be well!
Just ordered mine!! Can’t wait! I just talked about these shirts on my blog today too! Good luck, Layla!! ~Kim @Irishman Acres
Glitch fixed! Got my shirt! Blessings to you through this adoption journey!
I am so excited they are finally available for sale! The designs are great and the idea behind them, even greater. I love your generous heart. Can’t wait to get one.
I got one of each! Wahoo!
I would love to order one of your day dream t-shirts, but I live in Switzerland. Will you be able to offer international shipping?
G.
I am trying to order the day dream shirt in medium but it keeps adding it to my cart in a XXL. Help!
I had to pick an XL which then put medium in my cart. I guess its going two sizes on the list up or something.
Trying to order the Daydream shirt in Medium, but every time it goes to the checkout, it changes it to XXL. Help! 🙂
Love, Love, Love the shirts!!! Are the sizes based on a men’s or women’s size?
Love these Ts and Love your heart, El!
(Will I still be seeing you later this month???)
Thank you, Ess! 😀
No, unfortunately I won’t be able to see you in TX…but I’m hoping it’s because I’m in Haiti! 😀
Ordered a shirt, but wanted to pay by credit card. How?
I guess I should have read the blog closer!!! Oops!!!! I saw the answer to my question!!!! Ordering now!!!!! Yippeeee!
Hi!
How long will you be selling the shirts?
Thanks so much!!!
Heather
Hi Heather! This sale will run til next Monday at 9am. Thank you! XO
Layla,
Question before I order, we live here right in Prattville attend centerpoint. Are you doing a local pick up or should I just order and have them shipped ?
Thanks
Rachel
Hi Rachel!
Go ahead and have them shipped if that’s okay…I’m not sure how to override the system and I’ll probably break it if I try- LOL! 😀
just ordered a couple from a FB post from esty. love these! blessings on your adoption!
LOVE this! I’ve been behind on your blog and just as I was feeling down about my own dream, I read about the tshirts and of course “Don’t give up on your day dream” just hit home. Layla, you and Kevin are so incredibly inspiring. I have no doubt you’ll have a tremendous response and as you said, this is the way it was supposed to be launched! I wish I lived in AL, we could have a shipping party! 🙂
Would love to support (and really love the shirts, too). Are you able to ship to Canada now?
Also, the size ‘glitch’ Janet mentioned can be solved at the purchaser’s end by updating the cart.
Wishing you all the best with your sales!
I had the same thing happen to me when I tried to add my size, but I changed the quantity to 0 to delete the incorrect size and the correct size came up. I am so happy to be able to contribute in a very small way to this cause. Thank you for letting us be a part in helping.
Fixed! Ordered!
I keep trying to order the XL and they cart say I selected a Large. I see this is a current problem. I will try and remember to check back later to purchase.
Hi Crystal!
Apparently some folks are having to click “update” in their shopping cart in order for their size to stick. Hope that helps and thank you so much for your support! XO
Thanks! I was able to place my order. Can’t wait to see what designs you come up with next. Good luck!
So I just ordered a t shirt Don’t Quit Your Daydream(love it) I was having the same issue as others when ordering. I ordered a small but it showed that I ordered a large until I checked out and them in my cart was a small. I hope I actually get the small. If not I’ll have a really cute night shirt.
Ha! Thank you, Michelle! As long as it showed up as a small in your shopping cart, you will be good to go! 😀 Thank you for your support, and I hope you love your shirt! XO
Just ordered 2!! One for me and one for my amazing boss… we have both just started the process of adoption!! Love what you are doing!!!
Hi Layla,
I have been an avid reader of your blog for years and of course love the initials since mine are the same :)!! I am wanting to order 2 of your tshirts but wasn’t sure if you ship to canada! Thought I should ask first!!
Thanks so much & know that you are in someone’s prayers in Canada;)!
Warmly,
Tara
Snagged an Isaiah t shirt for my husband and I think I ordered an XL (I had the same issue. I am using Chrome.) But I figure if it gets sent here as a medium then I’ll just wear it. 😉 It will work out fine I am sure. So touched by your decision to ‘give one tshirt away’ so to speak. Be blessed!
Layla,
Like the others with size issurs whith their order I just tried to add an XL to my cart and it keeps coming up as a L. I hope it is because you have already sold a ton on them, but I really want to get one too!
Thanks,
Sharon
I had the same problem with sizing issues; I wanted a M and it kept putting a L in my cart. I just clicked on update cart and it fixed it.
Very excited for this shirt and to help contribute! I love this saying and have it on my chalkboard door!
