Spring Fling Link Parties

Well, it’s March 1st, which means Spring is right around the corner- yay!

I’m looking forward to seeing things turning green, flinging open our windows, and partying like a rockstar with YOU and my fellow link party ladies- Sarah, Rhoda and Kate from March 20th-29th!

The four of us are throwing our first ever Spring-themed link party series, so if you’re going to be blogging about any of the Spring idea topics listed on the banner above, I hope you’ll swing on by and link ‘em up, Buttercup!

I had fun blogging about our Spring mantel last year…

…and I look very forward to cooking up another one this year, too!

Happy March, and I hope to see you and your Spring-y shelf, ledge and mantel displays on the 20th!

You know, not until your blog and a few other home blogs did I even entertain the idea of not having the same thing on my mantle 11 months out of the year! I’m going to change that this year! (Probably to the chagrin of the Mr! Oh well! HA!)

Ooooh, I haven’t done one of these before, but now I can’t wait! I even let my girls “swim” in the bathtub with their swimming suits this morning to celebrate March’s arrival! So happy!

I had forgotten about the little bird picture on the mantel. I need something to go in my steamy bathroom. I think I will paint a white canvas with a little bird stencil. Thanks for the inspiration.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE your blog .. i ran across it a couple of months ago through Pinterest & was mezmerized & amazed … so I immediately subscribed. You are both so creative and inspirational AND REAL. I look forward to reading & following your blog everday. I am excited to look at the Spring Fling Party as well. You have inspired me to ‘Spring’ up my little cottage, so I am in the process of putting up an adirondack swing on the front porch… gonna paint it a fun spring color & add colorful pillows :) Best wishes to you both AND THANK YOU !

I am sooo ready to decorate for spring but the 1st of March could see hot and windy or snow here in the panhandle. Trying to hold off for a couple of weeks.

Hello! I would love to decorate my mantel for the seasons but because of our room layout, placement of windows, and such we have to put our t.v. on the mantel. Not my favorite placement but it really is the only place. So, I wonder if you could give any tips on how to decorate the mantel with a not so attractive t.v. up there. THanks!

I love this! So cute!!! I never think about the fact that I have awesome design material just wasting space in the back of my closet! You’ve got great ideas for making awesome spaces out of simple things. Really shows that you don’t need a lot to dress up your home :-) I work for a real estate agent and all of her client are always looking for awesome ideas like this. Love.

    Good morning:
I’ve been reading your blog for some time now. Just last month I started my own blog to highlight (and hopefully sell) what I love the most.. .painting furniture and creating unique wall art. YOU were my inspiration. I grew up in Richmond and just love the fact that you guys live there… a super place to live. Thanks for your inspiration. I’m following your blog now!
