Words Of Encouragement For All The Fun Folks Starting A Blog This Year

Jan 19, 2018 By Layla

Happy Friday, friends!

How was your week? Ours was snowy, and MAN was it neat to wake up and see piles of the stuff for more than one day this time! 😀

We’re only about 3 hours from the Gulf of Mexico, so it rarely snows where we live. Steevenson realllly wanted to see (and taste!) it this year though, so we’re super excited he got the chance…more than once!

I also wanted to recommend this book I got in the mail last week:

365 Days of Wonder: Mr. Browne’s Precepts

It’s by the same author who wrote “Wonder” (which was also great!) and I’ve really enjoyed reading the quotes inside. I’ve been sharing them in my Instagram Stories. Here’s a video in case you missed the first three and want to think through them with me!

I plan on sharing every morning over there if you want to join me. Just click on my profile pic to access my Stories.

Alright, y’all! We’re off to Florida to visit my side of the fam for a couple of days now that the roads are ice-free. My Uncle Rick is visiting from Minnesota and I can hardly wait to introduce him to Steevenson, and vice versa. Poor guy probably thought he’d be greeted by warmer weather coming this far south- ha!

    Oh, poor Minnesotan uncle!
Steevenson is cute beyond words, especially tasting the snow. How many snowmen did he make?

I needed a smile this morning and Steevenson licking the snow gave me that! So fun to see things through a little one’s eyes.

Thank you. Steevenson is darling. I can just see him building a snowman and throwing snowballs.

It’s fun to see someone enjoy snow. Living in Canada I see a lot over the winter …. but it is amazinly more enjoyable now that I am retired and now required to drive in it if I don’t want to 🙂

Love the paint job on the house …..

Hold the phone! When did you paint the house? Did you post it and I missed it? Looks amazing! Also, it looks like the barn is painted too!!! Wow! How exciting for Sonny to see snow at home, he looks pretty happy!

Your Stevenson is getting so big. What a joy for him to experience so many new things because of the love you both have.

What a cutie-pie! I love the excitement on Steevenson’s face! And I still love these encouraging words – for new and seasoned bloggers alike. Enjoy your time with family!

I love the color of the ceiling on your front porch. What color is it?
