This adoption adventure has been very mysterious. Never knowing what’s around the corner…always Trusting that we should just keep moving our feet.
But this Saturday, we’re going to look back from the top of this mountain…
…and we’ll be up there looking with our son.
Less than 48 hours from now, y’all!!!
This is a two-week socialization visit, and although we won’t be able to bring him home at the end of this trip, we are SO excited to be able to spend this time bonding with him. Our hearts are overflowing with excitement and gratitude, and our minds are absolutely racing.
Prayers appreciated for our baby’s precious little heart. I can’t wait to tell you all about him when I have downtime during nap time!

My heart swells for you all! I shall never forget meeting our son 44 years ago. I could not even imagine the joy that was and still is in store for us. His five children continually remind us how generous God is. Spending today playing with two little ones again today. Thank you God for choosing a beautiful family for us.

You, my dear internet friend, are already his Momma. While the road hasn’t been easy or fast – and there are for sure going to be bumps in the future – you have been Sweet P’s Forever Mama from the start. God knew it – and know Sonny and the world will know it!
I’m so, so very happy for you both. This has been a long, hard journey so far, and now you finally get to spend time with your son! But a small word of caution……… I just met a lovely girl who volunteers down there in an orphanage, and she was really having a bad day. She told me that she had just received news that 25 people had just been killed down there, and she was beside herself with worry. Please double check that everything is calm down there before you fly out. Thank you! We need to be safe in this changing world of ours.
