WE’RE GOING TO MEET OUR SON!

Feb 19, 2015 By Layla

“You never know what’s around the corner. You just keep putting one foot in front of the other, and then one day you look back and you’ve climbed a mountain.”
―Tom Hiddleston

Diamond

This adoption adventure has been very mysterious. Never knowing what’s around the corner…always Trusting that we should just keep moving our feet.

But this Saturday, we’re going to look back from the top of this mountain…

Haiti Mountain | Adoption | Three Angels

…and we’ll be up there looking with our son.

Haiti Adoption | Three Angels

Less than 48 hours from now, y’all!!!

This is a two-week socialization visit, and although we won’t be able to bring him home at the end of this trip, we are SO excited to be able to spend this time bonding with him. Our hearts are overflowing with excitement and gratitude, and our minds are absolutely racing.

Prayers appreciated for our baby’s precious little heart. I can’t wait to tell you all about him when I have downtime during nap time!

PS- I plan to blog a few times a week while we’re there, and I created the hashtag #SweetPmakes3 on Instagram if you’d like to follow along between blog posts! XO

YAY! Adoption is such a mysterious journey. We looked all over the world for my son and while we were busy pursuing an Int’l adoption, he showed up in our lives from the next town over…

I have prayed for you and for your son and loved being a part of your journey. Thank you for sharing it with the world.. Safe travels!

I can tell you from 33 years of experience…there is NO greater joy than being a parent. Congratulations…live in the day and enjoy every second of this time. Parenting involves experiencing every emotion known to man…but if you focus on the “negative,” you will miss the incredible “positives.” It doesn’t matter if they break a dish, a rule or your heart…know that every minute of every day is precious!
