Well, it’s the 19th of the month again, so that means time for another Chapel Market update!
(Logo by Courtnie at Poppy Pedals)
This time around, I thought I’d post some pictures of some of the items me and my vendor-friends are bringing to the sale!
Marian sent me these sneak peeks the other day, and I can’t wait to see this stuff in person!
(For as long as it stays in her booth, that is!) 😀
Here are a few pics of a few things Shaunna is bringing up from Troy, AL…
…and here are a few of the goodies that KariAnne is bringing down from Kentucky…
 Â
Southern Accents will be bringing this (and lots more!) salvage-y stuff down from Cullman, AL:
…and my Chapel Market partner, Mary, has been busy gathering up a bunch of previously-loved stuff to bring down from Illinois, too…
I can still hardly believe I get to see her twice in one year!!! 😀 #excited
Here are a few photos of some of the things that’ll be in my booth:
That little table in the photo above has a matching partner, too! 🙂
I’ll post another update on September 19th if there are any new developments, but in the meantime, if you’re planning to come to the sale and you haven’t RSVP’ed yet- would you mind swinging over to The Chapel Market Facebook page and clicking on “Events”, and then “Join”?
Â
The chapel is located at:
1 Chapel Hill Street
Pike Road, Alabama
36064
…and the sale will be on Saturday, October 19th from 9a-5pm. Grilled food and cold refreshments will be available for (cash) purchase, and the vintage goods vendors will all be set up to process credit/debit card or cash transactions.
Thank you so much for swinging by today, and I hope to see/squeeze ya this Fall!
PS- Evan and Mary Kay didn’t get a chance to send me pics of their pretties before I posted this today, but they’ll still both be there in October, too! 🙂

In the photo of the suitcases, I have one exactly like the brown suitcase on the bottom. It was a thrift store find that I was just thrilled about! Some very lovely things…

Ok, I am seriously pumped!! Of course I’ve been chattering about this, and how excited i am that we are going, for a few months now!! I wasn’t sure how my hubby felt about driving me 14 hours to ‘shop’ since it’s our anniversary…but the other day HE brought it up and asked if we should pull a trailer in case I find big stuff. Hahahaha! He is coming over to the ‘junking’ adventure state of mind. I mean, does it get more romantic than that? I think not…

It is going to be so much fun!!!!! I think I’m going to do more shopping than selling. 🙂
Happy day!

Seriously wishing I lived in the south because all of those pics looked amazing. We’re currently in the process of decorating our new home and have a very rustic style- some of those pieces are just darling!
Shelia
LOVE your blog! Can the “spooning since…” be ordered? Thanks.
Layla
Thanks, Sheila! KariAnne makes those, so I would check with her at http://thistlewoodfarms.com! 😀

Can NOT wait to meet everybody, sell my vintage goodies, buy MORE vintage goodies–and sign copies of CHRISTMAS BLISS at the Chapel. See y’all in October!

Lovely Vignettes. I’ve looked them over at least twice. Thanks!
Ruth
YUM! So excited about The Chapel Market! Hope Miss Mustard Seed will bring some of her glass glitter. 🙂

Hope Miss Mustard Seed brings PLENTY of the German glass glitter!
🙂

Looking at your pictures brought back so many memories…The small blue suitcase is one just like my mom had…Also the spindle bed frame is what I had growing up – however my dad would paint it just about every year any color I wanted….My husband, grandson and I were just in Alabama on a road trip Saturday and I sure wish we would be able to head back over for the big sale! Maybe next time….

LOVE seeing all the vintage goodies that will be at Chapel Market! I love architectural salvage too. That table is just perfect!
Linda
SO sad! I will be passing through your area the week following the sale! Wish I could change date but it is set in stone. I would buy that globe to start with!! And probably cause my poor husband a major heart attack with all my other purchases! Guess it is better to miss the wonderful fun time I know I would have at the sale meeting some of my favorite bloggers. sob!

Lovelies all! I am so looking forward to this. Thanks again to all involved!

Oh Layla! I want to cry looking at these pictures because I wish I could come all the way out to Alabama from Washington state for this wonderful event! What great stuff! Hopefully it happens again next year–then maybe I could take a little trip! 😉
Linda@Coastal Charm
My girlfriend and I have our room booked and we are both so very excited about this event (still hard to believe that it is in our neck of the woods)…see ya in Oct.!!
Blessings,

Wish I lived closer so I could attend. You have wet my appetite to do some vintage shopping. Guess I will find some place close to home to shop. Have a wonderful time.
Michelle
I’d love to play with that small truck ! 😀

Shirley
Ach, this update makes me wish all the more that I could take off to Alabama and come to the market! 😀 Everything looks so classic and wonderful. Excited for you all!

Thanks, Shirley! We’re excited, too. 😀 Hoping it doesn’t rain that day!
