Our Favorite Bedding (Beddy’s!)

Aug 6, 2019 By Layla

Howdy, friend!

I promised a post about Meme’s bedding today, so I’m back with all the deets! It’s our favorite bedding combo made by a company called Beddy’s.

We used the same kind (in a different pattern) in Steevenson’s room and Meme really loved it whenever she slept up there, so we thought we’d do the same thing for her daybed downstairs. And since her room is right off our dining room, we thought it would be easier to keep the bed looking tidy if we went with something with a zipper as well.

My favorite layer of the Beddy’s sets is the minky blanket that’s sewn inside:

There’s an extra panel of it that’s made to drop down when the comforter is unzipped that so your body always stays covered:

This particular set is called “Oh So Boho” and it’s a really pretty, textured, taupe color. The sheet that is sewn inside (as well as the pillowcase that comes with the set) is white and has the words “good morning” and “goodnight” printed on it.

We added in some and two . I use Pottery Barn’s inserts inside them and will link to those here as well: .

People ask me all the time is Beddy’s is “really worth the price?” and Kevin and I would both say 100% YES. It’s SUPER cozy, easy to put on, easy to take off, and makes it incredibly easy to keep your bed looking neat. We even got a set for our king-sized bed upstairs! Here’s a video that shows how it works:

Hi. Where is the sconce from?

We are retirees and I CANNOT get the corners of our fitted sheets on by myself so the idea of sheets that you can actually put on is thrilling.
It all looks so pretty, you are so amazing!

I really like the idea of this, especially for a child’s room. Is it hard to wash this? Do you wash the whole thing or just the sheet section?

In the video she says you can unzip the top and just wash it or just wash the bottom or leave it zipped and wash the whole thing.

I’m a top sheet user. I guess I’m old-fashioned and grew up using one. I get hot in the night so I’d want the top sheet only and no blanket. Sadly they don’t offer this option. But it’s super cute for kids!

I know I’m behind in your posts. Would you mind saying where you got your bamboo shades again ?

    Hi,
Will you consider showing your king sized Beddy and talk about any other foundational pieces you use? For example, do you use a fitted mattress pad? Also, I am interested in durability.
I did look at photos on the website, but would like to see a king size in a real home.
    Thanks.

Hi Lori! I got it on eBay several years back. It was a (silver) Pottery Barn sconce that I sprayed gold! šŸ™‚
