Remember Ashley from the Old Cloverdale house renovation?
Well, she’s done remodeling her kitchen and dining room, and I’m so excited to show you the before and after photos today!
But before we dive into all the pretty pics, I did just want to mention that our t-shirts are being printed this week, and that we’re going to start shipping them out next week. Thanks again to everyone who ordered! 😀 XO
Okay- are you ready for some remarkable?
What once looked like this:
Now looks like this!
And over in the dining room, what once looked like this:
Now looks like this!
Pretty wild, huh? And it’s SO crazy to think she pulled that all together in less than two months!
Ashley said the bedrooms and bathrooms weren’t ready for their close-ups yet, but check out the little bar area she created in one of the closets off the dining room:
Isn’t that door gorgeous?! Here’s a close-up of the Colefax & Fowler wallpaper she backed the closets with:
The style is “Heywood” and the color is silver. For more info about the it, click here: Designs.Colefax.com.
Now let’s head back to the kitchen, shall we? What a transformation!
Ashley ordered the Henry Industrial Hanging Pendant Lights from Circa Lighting through her shop, and the farm table-turned-kitchen island came from Scott’s Antique Market in Atlanta.
The cabinets and trim are painted Revere Pewter by Benjamin Moore, and the ceiling and walls are White Dove.
(Ashley wasn’t quite done with the living room either, but I can’t wait to show you that, too!)
The faucet came from Home Depot and the marble counters were done by Hardy Royal at Premier Countertops here in Montgomery.
The (small, medium and large) wicker stag heads above the range are also available through Ashley’s shop…
Ashley was so sweet to order one of the little ones for our little one, so I’m super excited to hang it up in his room when it arrives. There’s a nice big chunk of open wall space in there, and I think some wicker taxidermy will be a fun addition to the art collection I’ve got planned! Hmmm…wicker…taxidermy…
#Waxidermy 😉

Wow what a transformation!! I was loving your process posts and it’s so exciting to finally see the “after”!! LOVE:)

Beautiful kitchen!!! Is it possible for you to share the dimensions of it?
Hi Debbie!
I’m not sure what the measurements are. Hopefully Ashley can jump in here and answer that for you! 🙂
Cool! Thanks Layla! So many neat ideas.
I hope the Palmers had a good weekend 😀

I’m so excited to see these before and after shots up! I’ve been following along closely with her renovation and LOVE how everything turned out!! Beautiful!
I’m curious about the marble back splash behind the faucet in front of the window? I noticed them for the baths also. Is that a Southern style? Or is that something new?
Hi Shirley! I’m not sure if it’s a Southern style thing or an Ashley style thing. I sure do love it though! 😀
Hey Shirley, the windows that were original to the house hit below the countertop. In order to make the design look intentional, a higher backsplash and draperies were used to distract your eye away from the window. Hope this helps!
Hi Debbie,
The dimensions of the kitchen are 14′-3″x13′-8″ and the breakfast room is 14′-3″x12′. Hope that helps!
Ashley
I did not know Cloverdale was being revived. So exciting! I always thought it had so much charm! The house is beautiful and i love the outside curb appeal in its features! Im sure it will be gorgeous and cant wait to see the completion! I lived in Montgomery a short while and i love visiting!
Just lovely. I love the mix of white and warm woods- great tone on the floors! Lovely work. Can’t wait to see more “after” shots of how she incorporated all of the re-claimed doors. Oh and the wood ceiling! Wonderful details 🙂 Thanks for sharing!
I would love to know the stain color Ashley used for her floors.
It is a beautiful renovation!
Thanks
Minwax Jacobean, available at Lowes! 😀
Wow! Simply amazing! I love the pops of green in the vases in the dining room and the green jar on the kitchen counter!
I love the mirror hanging in the hallway by the dining room “closet” bar, and would love to know who makes it. It’s just lovely!
What a beautiful project, everything is perfect 🙂
Hi Sandy,
The mirror is an old antique find. Glad you like it…I did too. 🙂
Ashley
@Layla Do you know what brand, make and model and size that stove is?
The stove is the Frigidaire Gallery series with the gas cook top. You can find details on Lowes or Home Depot.
Hi Layla, this is amazing! I remember when “old Cloverdale” was one of the nicest s/d in Montgomery. My Dear and I started house in Montgomery many many years ago. As a matter of fact our first home was just off of Pike Road. There was “nothing” there when we live out there. Those were sweet and beautiful years for us. I love your blog and have been a faithfully follower for 1 1/2 years. Good luck with the adoption. My two beautiful grands are adopted. I know what a roller coaster ride it is and all the emotions. Thanks for sharing your beautiful life. Keep the faith and always remember, God is so good!
I love this kitchen it is so beautiful.
I love the paint color on the cabinets and trim!! It looks “light” in the pictures but the sample on BM website seems darker. I would like to know how it looks with the windows and if they are white.
Wow, just wow! She did such an amazing job in such a short time period. I have been in love with that door handle since you posted it on instagram. I just died over the rug that’s in front of the bar closet and that antiqued mirror that’s hanging in the hallway in that same picture. Ugh! Too many good things!
Beautifully eclectic!
Can you tell us where the cabinets came from? I love all the drawers, the marble and the subway tile backsplash! Beautiful farmhouse classic!
Following this! I would also like to know. We are just starting the remodel process and are in between big box, ikea with custom fronts, or hiring a cabinet maker. This is absolutely perfect. Clean and white but with lots of character.
wildly in love with the transformation, but i have to say that the little “closet” bar is tremendous! what a fantastic idea!
Your kitchen and dining room turned out just absolutely beautiful! Would you mind telling me how high your kitchen island is? I would love to be able to turn a table into an island but they are normally not he right height.
I love everything. Your vision was fantastic and it turned out beautifully.
My absolute favorite is the marble countertops. I have wanted marble for years but am afraid of stains. My husband loves to cook but he doesn’t clean. Please let me ask how they have held up down the road.
Enjoy you new makeover. It is gorgeous.
beautiful!! so lovely!
i would love if she shared her dishwasher model! all the integrated ones i have found you can see the black metal along the kick-toe.
Absolutely unreal.
I could die in that kitchen! Just die! Do ya hear me? D. I. E.
What color/brand of blue did she use on the table in the kitcen? and did she use semigloss on the cupboards. Thanks for sharing. Love everything.
I’d also love info on the cabinets, maker, style, material. We are looking at renovating soon. We had most of our home painted in Revere Pewter and LOVE it. It’s the best color to compliment all other colors. Love what you’ve done!
Beautiful! I love the kitchen table/island!
That is AMAZING!!! Great work!
I know this is not pertaining to the post but I love your boots. Where did you get them? Keep up the great work your amazing.
How beautiful is that kitchen. Thanks for sharing it.
I too would love to know where the cabinets are from. Love the shaker style (love the drawer fronts). Did you buy unfinished and then paint? What brand?
Thanks a lot! I was dying to see the afters! 🙂 More, please. Btw the antique mirror is amazing. All the spaces are beautiful!
So pretty! Our 1920’s cottage has a very similar layout (Living room, kitchen, dining room – in that order). We hope to remodel soon, thinking that the layout should be changed so that kitchen is in the back, but this one turned out so nicely, and maybe I’m reconsidering keeping the kitchen where it is. Everything looks great. I’m concerned about not having that “work triangle” though, having to go around the island to go from stove to sink, for example. Hmmm…..
The kitchen is beautiful, love it. I’m curious about the paint color on the cabinets. Is it Revere Pewter lighted by some percentage? I have a paint chip for Revere Pewter at home and those cabinets look like a much lighter color.
Thanks!
I love the finished look. The bar closet is great. And my husband would die if I got those animals for our house.
That marble is gorgeous, what an amazing transformation! Also, I can’t wait to check out those wicker stag heads in Ashley’s shop – I’ve never seen anything like them!
Your site says these are BM Revere Pewter Cabinets but it looks so much lighter than my cabinet sample painted in RP. Can you please tell me if you cut the formula?
Thanks so much! What you have done looks great!
Oh, sweet mercy! I never really have time to read all the blogs, because… well… TODDLER IN THE HOUSE! And then there’s our junior high boy with the social life who always needs a ride somewhere, and tons of laundry to do, so blog-reading always takes a back burner to real life. But today… WHILE THE TEEN IS GOLFING AND THE TODDLER IS NAPPING, I’m sneaking in some down time, and this is where I ended up! And!!! THOSE WICKER STAG HEADS ABOVE THE STOVE HAD ME AT HELLO! I just want to stand up and clap wildly and shout out, “Well-played! Well!! Played!!” And now I’ve successfully spent so much time on your blog, that I’ve taken YOUR house tour and drank an entire cup of chai tea, and all I can say is this: Maybe you could come visit us… and you could just roll up your sleeves and say something very fancy and glittery, like, “Would you mind if I just redecorated your house for you?” Because goodness! I think your style is officially my style, but Jesus didn’t give me the spiritual gift of decorating, even though that’s the gift I kind of wanted!
LOVE LOVE LOVE! I just painted my walls Revere Pewter…what a perfect color!!! The kitchen floor is EXACTLY what i am looking for…can you tell me about it? What, where and how can I get one? THANk YOU FOR SHARING!
