Last Friday was f-u-n, fun.
We rode up and down escalators…

…and ate Swedish meatballs and mashed pa-taters…

We tripped out on trays…

…and smiled at striped duvets…

We sipped tea on aisle four…

…and found lots of little goodies, all over the store…

We got hid our hands in our bags, and sang with invisible mics…

We ran into unbelievable prices that made me say “yikes!”

When we were done at Ikea, we headed over to Borders. We sat on the floor, and counted our quarters. (Not really….it just rhymed.)

We met lots of cool folks hanging out in the store…

…and I’ll never forget seeing this guy and his family stroll in through the door…

We had a blast chatting it up with the incomparable Miss Ree…

…and I had her sign an extra copy of her book, with love from TLC…

I stood in line in Houston for hours to meet Ree and get signed cookbooks last year. Would do so for
this book but she isn’t making it to my neck of the woods this year. I really have to say a big thank you
to Ree for linking to the lettered cottage. I am always amazed and delighted about every post. You are
wonderful and I am learning so much!
SO envious of 2 things here: 1) that you actually live near an ikea store and 2) that you made it to one of pw’s book signings! I missed her when she was here in Denver, so obviously I would love to win your giveaway! Thanks!!
Love the pictures! What a fun day! I recently heard of the Pioneer Woman website and have enjoyed seeing her perspective on rural life, plus the photos, food, and room makeovers are fun to look at.
Layla!
I would love to win! You and PW are two of blogmothers! (you are both older than me in blog years…)
Bless you and Kevin and PW!
