Last Friday was f-u-n, fun.
We rode up and down escalators…

…and ate Swedish meatballs and mashed pa-taters…

We tripped out on trays…

…and smiled at striped duvets…

We sipped tea on aisle four…

…and found lots of little goodies, all over the store…

We got hid our hands in our bags, and sang with invisible mics…

We ran into unbelievable prices that made me say “yikes!”

When we were done at Ikea, we headed over to Borders. We sat on the floor, and counted our quarters. (Not really….it just rhymed.)

We met lots of cool folks hanging out in the store…

…and I’ll never forget seeing this guy and his family stroll in through the door…

We had a blast chatting it up with the incomparable Miss Ree…

…and I had her sign an extra copy of her book, with love from TLC…

I just finished reading her book last week – loved it! But I have it on my Nook and I’d love to win a (signed!) copy!
I would love to win a signed copy of Ree’s book! I went to her booksigning when she was in our area, but I got there a little late and found out that it would take about 3 hours to get to the front of the line. I wasn’t able to stay that long so I never got my book signed. I was pretty bummed 🙁
I follow The Pioneer Woman everyday, love her personality. My sister is reading the book now, and says she breaks out laughing out loud sometimes. I would love to read her new book. I’ve never been to Ikea, but I’m anxious to go sometime. Looks like you had a good time!
