Okay! For those of you who couldn’t join me for the Insta-story this past Wednesday, here’s my latest “Hump Day” video:

What a blast! 

I’m thinking I may switch things up and go to an antique mall/flea market next time? How does that sound? And since this has turned into such a regular thing, I’m sort of wanting to change the name of it too. That way I don’t have to say the words “hump day” all the time (ha!) and if I start going to place that don’t start with the letter “H” it won’t matter. (That was the idea originally…Hobby Lobby, HomeGoods, H&M) Either way, like I mentioned in my last email, I’ll always try to put together a group of five-ish ideas that are fun, affordable and easy to create no matter where you shop. Even if it’s your house! 🙂

So what do you think we should call this new series? I’m all ears and open to suggestions!

      Keep in mind, I spend the bulk of my work week sharing these decorating tips (and the content in every blog post for the past nine years) for free. A) because I am passionate about it, and B) because I love connecting with folks who are looking for inspiration. Luckily, it’s turned into a career for me, while the content remains free. I’m not sure what you or your family does to earn a living, but this is my job- and in a way, my advertisers are my “employers”. They make it possible for me to keep sharing for free….and help keep the lights on and bellies full around here. Sorry if that “frustrates” you, but putting these videos together takes several hours (in the store and in Adobe Premiere) and I’ve gotta make ends meet for my family…whom I’m away from while I’m working on these. And because I’m partnered with my advertisers, I look forward to sharing many more posts, ideas and advice in the years to come. 🙂
