Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my tracks while I was scrolling Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s picks:
I don’t know if that’s brass sliding door hardware (or if she painted it to look like that), but I LOVE the look of it paired with the galvanized track and charcoal gray door!
2. @Terra_Naut:
Where do I even begin?! 😀
3. @MyLivedInHouse:
The piece above the sofa immediately intrigued me in that one. It looks like she came up with a fantastic way to enlarge the size of that art and light it at night. So cool!
That one stopped me in my scroll because it looks almost exactly like the banquette that will be in the Bungalow Barn. It’s going to be such a cute and cozy spot!
5. @DrivenByDecor:
There’s that combo again! Brass and charcoal gray- mmmm!
PS- I’ve been tagging these round-ups on Instagram with the hashtag #InstaWednesdayRoundUp if you’d like to see them all together over there!

I love that antique (?) buffet in the kitchen. I really wanted to do that, but oh, it’s difficult to pull off!
Carol
It seems she’s not so much enlarging the art as using a small piece of art with the enlargement to ingeniously hide cords for over-head lighting! Awesome idea!
Layla
Yes! 😀 I noticed the cord covers too, but I still think she could’ve used those under (or next to) the smaller piece. It seems like the white background helps eat up more room on the wall. I’ll have to check out her blog to see if I can find more pics! 🙂
Antonella
Couldn’t be a projector-thing solution instead of a TV?
🙂
Patti
I love Driven By Decor’s Master Bedroom! I especially like the headboard she painted.
Claudia Phillips
Number 1. That knee wall painted black is genius! And everything else. The colors and patterns are delicious! Number 5. Gray has never looked so warm and soft and gorgeous. I’ve been eyeing an old headboard that is just like that one, but old, brown and damaged. I was wondering if I could make it look fabulous. Now I know I can.
Charlotte Lindsay
I am absolutely in love with the third picture. The sweater textured pillow is great for giving a fall/winter look to a home. Always amazes me how much home textiles can make a house feel more cozy.

Beautiful

She could be hiding cords but that artwork makes a statement for the area. I love it and certainly could not ignore the wooden floors as a backdrop against the kitchen cabinets in that other picture. The kitchen sure looks like a nice and warm spot to gather around.
