Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my tracks while I was scrolling Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s pics!
Check this out. She used this range hood as inspiration…
…to create this…
…which turned out like this!
Pretty impressive, huh? 😀
Aren’t those stripes stunning? Irina mentioned in her caption that the room was designed by Katie Rosenfeld. Such a pretty bathroom!
It’s a clubhouse under the stairs!!! 😀

Gosh, I like so many things about that room! The textures and neutral palette…mmm!
This one is TOO makes my heart sing. Here’s the “before” kitchen…
…and here’s the incredible “after”!
I love the little nook she has over her kitchen sink:
Made me think about Traci’s kitchen sink dilemma that I blogged about last week. Maybe she could do something like that too?
Happy Wednesday, friends!

Taste of France
Those giant range hoods were a thing in Europe because they hid not only the range vent but also vented the small gas hot-water heaters. There would be an on-demand hot water heater in the kitchen and another in the bath. Probably because plumbing through solid-stone walls isn’t easy, nor is it easy to find a place to hide a big hot-water heater in homes with no closets.
The skeleton for making the hood is pretty clever!
That last kitchen is a really dramatic, and successful, makeover!

We lived in France in the 60’s and I remember those gas hot-water heaters. Such fond memories! Loved the kitchen.

Love the sink. Do you know if this is new or old?
Layla
I’m guessing it’s very old, Patricia. I love it too!

THAT is EXACTLY what I was thinking also…how great that would be for Traci’s kitchen as soon as I seen that !!!
Layla thank you for these “stopped me in my tracks” posts, I just L❤️VE them !!!

P.s. That clubhouse under the stairs….I’m SO in love🙋👯😘

My “before” kitchen looked like Little Miss Farmhouse’s, and I have a similar color/style aesthetic with my “after” so of course I’m very drawn to her space. I can just feel her sigh of relief when the new kitchen went in. So pretty!

I wish I could find a contractor that would make my dreams like this a reality!! Many are so hard to work with and don’t have any forethought. I say that because I’ve done 3 remodels and all I get are complaints that everything I pick out is difficult to install!! They just want easy stuff, get the job over with, get their money and leave. Makes remodeling a hard experience and leaves me very disappointed. Guess you have to work with an interior designer and pay more money to get what you want…..anyone find this to be true? Or unless you are married to, or know of, a great handyman with a happy and positive disposition!

That range hood is WOW!! Happy Wednesday, I mean Thursday now. 😉 ~Miranda

The clubhouse under the stairs is a great way to use extra, unused space. Not only does it add a unique and cute flair to your home decor kids and animals would love it!
