5 Instagram Photos That Stopped Me In My Scroll

Oct 4, 2016 By Layla

Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my tracks while I was scrolling Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s pics!

1. @RoomsForRent:

This! *This* is the direction I’d like to head in on our front porch! #someday

2. @NC_HomeDesign:

Hubba Hubba! Isn’t that area around the stovetop gorgeous?

3. @Robin_Stubbert_Photographer:

The reclaimed barn wood on the island, the black door, the rolling ladder…that neutral palette mixed with those luscious greens!

4. @LizMarieGalvan:

Mums in giant crocks? Yes, please!

5. @NestingWithGrace:

Mmmmmmm!

PS- I’ve been tagging these round-ups on Instagram with the hashtag #InstaWednesdayRoundUp if you’d like to see them that way over there!

Wow! That was quite a round up! Somehow the extent others decorate a front porch astounds me! Crates, hurricanes and tobacco baskets on the wall! Somehow I use plenty of flowers but forget to treat it like a room! What an inspiring porch!
And then the one with mums in crocks and pumpkins on the steps! Thanks Layla for always discovering and sharing such charming things!

I love the kitchen with the reclaimed/barn wood, but what is the LADDER for? Looks like to me it would be in the way.

I love the porch with the crocks. I have 2 big crocks and I am going to go shopping for Mums on Saturday.

Ha! I had the same thought about the ladder!

I agree, that ladder in picture three would be in the way. The colors and materials are great, though.

In picture two, that brick would be a cleaning nightmare, I can just imagine trying to get spaghetti sauce out of all those rough surfaces, plus it takes up valuable space on either side of the cook top.

I guess when decorating I look at the ease of cleaning first.
