Happy Wednesday, y’all!
I normally post 5 Instagram photos that stopped me in my scroll on Wednesdays, but since Black Friday is coming up, I wanted to post photos of 10 of my favorite items this Fall/Winter. I own and LOVE each of them, and although I don’t know if or what they’ll be on sale for this weekend, I would definitely recommend scooping them up if they are! First up, these high-tops I wear almost every day:
I’m obsessed with them. I wear them inside as slippers and outside with everything! They’re the perfect neutral color and they’re fuzzy inside, but my feet don’t get hot like they have in other fuzzy lined shoes. They fit true to size and I love that there is a little “leather” band around the toe part to prevent scuffs. They’re also incredibly easy to put on because there’s elastic underneath that sherpa part on both sides. Two thumbs up!
I literally LIVE in these jeans from week to week. I cannot recommend them highly enough. They’re soft, they’re comfortable, they wash and dry well…they’re, hands down, my favorite jeans I’ve ever worn.
I have them in a few different colors, but the gray and the black are my absolute favorites! As of right this moment, they’re on sale for $23.99 (the discount pops up once you get to the checkout screen), so hopefully that price will stay the same or go lower this weekend.
This next one is a life-changing beauty item that I can’t live without. It’s called “Shape Tape” and it’s literally the best concealer I’ve ever put on my face.
I tried out several this year, in hopes of finding one that wouldn’t crease and cake under my eyes, and this was the winner by a landslide. I’m looking forward to doing a make-up tutorial here in the next couple of weeks, so I’ll show you how I apply it then. For now, if you’re in the market for a fantastic concealer, and haven’t tried this one- you must!
I also love this under eye brightening cream, which I apply under the concealer first:
4. Lip Liner
Another beauty product I wear on my face (and get asked about a lot) is this “Pillow Talk” liner by Charlotte Tilbury.
I line and fill in my lips with it, and then I usually apply this Burts Bees lipstick on top:
Sometimes I switch it up and use this Neutrogena gloss in “Nutri Berry” instead:
This is what hangs over our mantel during the winter months, and folks are always asking where I got it, so I thought I’d include a link to it here.
I also get asked about our scripture sign a lot, so I thought I’d include a link to that one too:
Anywho- I hope that helps if you’re in the market for or been curious about any of these things. I’m off to HomeGoods today, and I’ll be sure to post the video of my top 5 “hump day” decorating tips here on Friday since so many of you requested I share it here too. Have a Happy Thanksgiving, friends!
PS- Would you like to see my top 10 picks for (spouse & kiddo) gifts this year? I’ve got some great gift ideas for Steevenson I’d love to share if you’d like to see what his teacher recommended too!
