Summer Mantel Link Party

Welcome to our Summer Fun link party!

We blogged about our Summer mantel last week…

…so we thought we’d kick off today’s festivities with some summer-inspired, shelf/mantel/wall ledge inspiration photos from other blogs around the web…

Traci at Beneath My Heart

Roeshel at DIY Showoff

Laura at Finding Home

Emily at Decor Chick

Myra at My Blessed Life

Nester at Nesting Place

Marianne at Songbird

Shaunna at Perfectly Imperfect

Kristen at Kristen Duke Photography

Karah at The Space Between

Aren’t they fun!? Love all that summertime goodness!

Have you blogged about a summer-inspired vignette you had fun creating this year? If so, we’d love to have you join the party, too! Here’s how to link up your blog post:

Scroll down until you see the little blue Add Your Link button. Click that, and follow the instructions on the page you’re redirected to. The instructions involve uploading a thumbnail image and creating a title for the image you’re using. You may want to title it with the name of your blog, or with the title of your Summer mantel/ledge/wall shelf post, but it’s totally up to you. Note: Make sure to link to your Summer Fun party post (not to the main page of your blog) so folks who stumble onto this post later on down the line can still click through and see your Summer-y inspiration!

Last but not least, we created a cute little badge to help promote the party, and we’d love it if you’d copy and paste the code in the box below at the bottom of the post you’re linking up…

The Lettered Cottage

We sure do appreciate you taking the time swing by today, and we hope you’re having a spectacular Summer so far!

Thank you so much for motivating me to create a fun summer mantel … my first fantel in this little Caribbean rental house … now I’m envisioning what my next mantel theme should be. And I love your features, that Roeshel is always so stylish and the flag made from starfish and bats is so creative. :)

Thank you so much for hosting such a fun gathering, Layla and Kevin, and allowing me to share our summer coastal mantel. I love your featured mantels, too … all gorgeous and very inspiring!

All those mantels are gorgeous and you can believe that I’m looking for some baseball bats after seeing Laura’s mantel :)
Thanks for hosting and I finally get to meet y’all this week at Haven =)

This was so much fun Layla! Thanks for the little “push” to re-think my mantel…I had never joined a Linky Party before…what inspiration!

  6. says

Hahaha, I tried to reply to your twitter message … apparently I can’t private twitter message someone who isn’t following me. :( But … my reply said “Are you kidding!? That is the best news ever! :) Thank you so much, what a wonderful start to the week!! Hope to see you at Haven. :)”

  7. says

Layla – Thank you so much for the feature – and what wonderful company to be with! Yeah for summer – and your button could not be any cuter- best one ever!

    Take care, Laura

What a happy festive decorating post – thanks for including me. I can’t choose a favorite. They’re all so creative and pretty! Yours makes me want to hop in the car and collect some souvenirs like Emily’s display (so fun!). Tracy’s free lemonade makes me want to head to the carnival this week, I love Myra’s old window paired with chevron. Marianne has a beautiful peaceful style. Laura is super creative – love those baseball bats and Kristin’s happy mantel. And I’d love to see Karah’s in person! lol! Looking forward to visiting each of these fabulous links. I gonna need a bulk pin button. ;) Thanks for hosting such a fun interactive party!

    Have a fabulous week!

Linked mine and can’t wait to come back to see more!

Hi Layla, the featured mantles are so gorgeous. I love your seaside/adventure mantle too. I’m always happy to link up at the Lettered Cottage. Thanks for hosting!

Thank you for hosting! I haven’t re-done my mantel since spring, because I’ve been so busy outside painting the exterior of our house… I did link up my spring/summer mantel anyway, but I gotta say, I kinda feel like the girl coming to the dance in an old dress… some of the other mantels are gorgeous! Now I’m hoping for a rain day so that I can work on my mantel too! Little Bit

Layla those are all so awesome! I have just finished my master bath reno, so I posted that (number 70) and hope that is okay! I did decorate the new shelving a bit so I hope that counts. And now of course you have motivated me to do the mantle! XO

  13. says

So many great ideas! I love all the summer decorating inspiration! The baseball bat flag is amazing! I have to give this a try! Thanks for hosting! It’s such a treat to see such amazing projects!

I am among the poor souls who do not have a mantel … but you inspired me to put together a fantel! I have all these radiator covers in our home that just sit there the same all year round. Just display places for photos and knick knacks …

… so I cleared them off and started from scratch. The family even remarked on how fun it turned out …

    Thanks for the motivation!

I’m blown away by those beautiful mantels! I need to bash my whole fireplace to bits and then rebuild it and THEN I can decorate. Maybe next year…or the year after that…

  16. says

Wow! You ladies are so talented. I love stopping by Lettered Cottage. It’s like a nice glass of iced tea on a summer day!

  17. says

Thanks for hosting, Layla!! You gave me the motivation to get my summer mantel done now instead of the end of August like last year!!!(Seasonal decorating with a toddler is not easy!) Love your mantel – that was seriously ingenious to create your own pull down wall map:)

  18. says

hi layla…..i have been in love with your style for years now..and after having the primitive look for years and having my home featured in country sample home tours magazine, i finally took the leak to redo in a different style….i call it (earthy comfy casual)…..please stop by and give me any advice on how i am doing…..big fan….linda

Thanks so much for hosting your fun mantle party…it definately got my motivated to (almost) complete my Summer mantle and enjoy it for the next few months. I hope to be able to get in one of your workshops at Haven and meet both of you too!

  20. says

Thanks so much for throwing this summer party! I don’t know where I’ve been!? For some reason you don’t show up in my reader and I’ve got to figure out why. I love the summer mantles you’ve featured. If only I had a mantle ;)

    Have a blessed week.

  21. says

Beautiful mantels! I love the variety – so many different styles yet I love them all! I linked up – 2 days late but the party is still going. :)

I like your adventure mantel too. FUN!

I’m looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta, probably later today! Yikes – I better get on it.

  22. says

It’s sad to think that my mantel would sport a couple of candlesticks and a vase all year long if it weren’t for the inspiration I find here to change it up for each season. :-) Thanks for the push – ’cause I’ve found it makes me happy to walk by my seasonally-decorated mantel! -Jami

Your mantel parties are a real treat for me. After a crazy week with medical issues coming up with our second little guy, this is just the little unwind time needed to regroup and do it again the next day! Thanks Layla. :)
