We’re still out here on Tybee Island…shooting pics of this pretty place for a magazine that’ll hit newsstands next Spring…
…but we couldn’t resist sprucing up the front door for Fall (for one quick snapshot!) to remind you about Rhoda’s door decor link party that’s happening today! Make sure to swing over to her place if you’re looking for lots of links to Fall-themed door decor!
We picked up our wreath from a little local shop here on Tybee called Seaside Sisters. Isn’t it lovely? Can’t wait to see what it looks like on our front door at home!
PS- Stay tuned for more “It’s Fall Y’all” link parties next week!

That wreath looks awesome. Really captures the feel of a shore home.
Layla,
The seashells, starfish, sand dollars and urchins are beautiful against the fresh greens. The only thing missing is a piece of driftwood with the words “The Lettered Cottage” on it. 🙂
Your Friend,
Deborah
so cute! I love those vines too.
love this beautiful wreath! Question Layla; I just tried to pin it, but it wouldn’t “pin”? Is there some reason the image isn’t “pinnable”, or maybe something’s not working right with my “pinner” !!
Soooo sweet, Layla! 🙂
I bought a similar wreath and hung it on my front door. The leaves quickly turned brown. I read online to keep these wreaths away from direct sunlight. Just something to think about if you want to use it multiple seasons.
The wreath is gorgeous! I love the color!
love green!! color perfect…….
All the greenery is gorgeous, with sea treasure attached to it!
Love it, you always come up with the freshest and prettiest ideas 🙂
I bought a magnet for my front door to hang my wreath…only I don’t have a wreath. Maybe I will just make the magnet a statement piece. 🙂
I love the wreath. I wish I could buy it online. Do you know if they offer that service where you bought it? I love the attached starfish! 🙂
Love it! I’m a little over an hour from Tybee, can you stop by my house? Have fun!
Debbie
Hmmm…I’m not sure, Sandra. ? I’d definitely give them a shout though! 🙂

I love the wreath!!! I want that wreath. I think I”m going to have to make that wreath! You taste is so polished. Love it!!!
I love it! It SCREAMS Layla and Kevin 🙂 Great find!
Happy shooting! (does that sound weird?… ha!)
That wreath is so pretty and versatile. I want one!
It is gorgeous! I love all the different textures used!
Just so cute and refreshing. I was just talking to my neighbor about how dry and dusty everything happens to be here in the valley (California) right now, harvesting of almonds has happened and it tends to make everything feel a bit dusty… So your picture is a breath of fresh non dusty air.. 🙂 Thank you!
Very lovely!
Your in my neck of the woods! I’m in Savannah! =)
I’m new to your blog and love it! Great ideas and great posts 😉 I’ll definitely be back for more great decorating tips.
The greens on that wreath with the seaside touches are simply divine. I had to Pin it!
