Happy Thanksgiving! Did you have a fun one? 😀
After a nice, big lunch with family, I finished decorating the entry table with things I gathered from around the house today.
I started with this strand of red glass ornaments…
…and then added in some wrapped boxes and some paper snowflakes and doilies.
A strip of wrapping paper and a piece of yarn became a “scarf” for my pitcher…
…and a tiny stump became a sweet little “present”.
I poured some faux snow into my ceramic tray, and then slid a couple of photos of the three of us into those frames I blogged about the other day.
I had to blur our little guy’s picture because we’re not allowed to post it until he is officially a Palmer.
Mr. P + Mrs. P + Sweet P = weeeeeeeeee! 😀
How beautiful…and I am so excited for you and your hubby as you anticipate your new family of three {five with your little critters!!}
Your grey chairs look so comfy. Not too formal and not too casual. Perfect!! May I ask where they are from? They look similar to ones I looked at from ikea…but yours look a bit bigger. Happy Thanksgiving to your family!!
all super cute! may I ask where you found the birch bark wrapping paper? I so love birch bark!
Beautiful. I love your eye for creating beauty! It is very inspiring.
Happy Thanksgiving!
I’m looking forward to seeing the real picture in the frame soon, and especially to seeing pictures of your little boy in the lovely home you have made for him. God will certainly redeem the time it has taken for you to be together. 🙂
Mmmmm simplicity! Love it!!!! Happy Thanksgiving Palmer’s and thank you for the Space Planning E-book. Can’t wait for the picture reveal. Season Blessings….
Love your creative entryway table. What do you store in the storage bins? Curious for any ideas?
Did you make the paper snowflakes or buy them somewhere? I love the red ornament strands too! So pretty! Love your winter decorations!
Thanks, Jenn! I have a small and large snowflake punch that I got at Michaels a while back, and the doilies came in a little pack of 12 in the Martha Stewart section of the store.
I love it all! My favorite part is all of the 3 things. The number 3 on the gift, three gifts, three people in the photos. I love your spirit and your so very meaningful decorating style.
Layla, I was so in love with the table and mirrors. I did not think I could love it all anymore till I now see your extra special holiday touches. You rock as a Prop Stylist! I know people who do it for a living and everything is in the last detail. You create a story with simple objects and with love. Happy Thanksgiving with Christmas around the corner. Huhs, Geri.
I love 3 things about you!!!! (Ah….crikey, there are more than 3)
I love your sense of decorating. You help me think outside the box.
I love your love of family. You are a girl after my own heart. My family is everything to me.
I love your faith. It makes me want to find a church where I can feel at home.
You make me strive to be a better person………..so, at this time of year, I am thankful for you, dear friend.
And now I’m officially obsessed with the red glass ornaments. Love, love, love. Are they available online?
The 3 and the blurred picture was my favorite! I also love the red ornaments!
The entry table looks so welcoming. Can’t wait to hear you say you are bringing home your “sweet p”! Such joy you will have, I think we will feel it around the globe!
Sadly, we lost my 91 year old mom the day before Thanksgiving. But I soldiered on, preparing dinner the next day, while she stood with me in my mind, telling me not to overdo the sage in the stuffing! It was a subdued day for me, but having the family to surround me helped beyond words.
looks tremendous.
also, wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!
Love your gray entry doors! I have a very similar set like yours in our master bedroom that I repurposed into mirrors earlier this year.
