Thought-Full Thursday: Life & Love

Last night was my night to get up and go back downstairs to work after Kevin and I did bedtime stories and prayers with Steevenson, but when I started to get up off the mattress to leave, he grabbed my arm and said, “No, Mama, I want you to stay”.

“You do?”, I asked.

“Yes”, for fifty days”, he replied. ⠀

It came out so quick- I knew exactly what he meant. He meant “always”. He meant “life is better together…even if we’re going to asleep”. ❤️

What a sweet and simple reminder of the meaning of my existence…and the one consuming desire of the heart of God: to love and let myself be Loved in this life that is a Gift. 🙂
