Well, it’s officially Fall, and I cannot tell you how excited I was when I saw the vegetable stand down the street putting out bunches and bunches of big, beautiful pumpkins! I get absolutely giddy when I see them popping up around town!
My mom and I took a road trip up to Minnesota last Fall, and I’ll never forget picking out pumpkins with her in Wisconsin, on the way back home.

Giddy to have an opportunity to maybe win my own pumpkin patch. I just ordered some for my Mom’s birthday and have hoped to win a drawing for myself. They are spendy but worth every precious dime they are just ADORABLE and the real stems….I truly don’t want to mail these to my mom. I’m in lust over velvet pumpkins!

Although I had already read about the amazing trip you took with your Mom last year, I think rereading it this morning was even more of a pleasure than it was the first time! Your Mother is lovely and I imagine she is the lady we all have to thank for your incredible creativity and for your lovely personality. What fun it must have been for both of you! My Mom use to call those occasions, “Golden Moments”.
I must admit my fire is definitely dwindling and I am struggling to keep my energy and excitement alive. My dear Mother has Alzheimer’s and I am suffering from PTSD. Not a real good combination! I go visit my sweet Mom but her memory seems to be increasingly worse with each visit. I am 62 now and somehow nothing seems to get me as excited as it use to. I would like to thank you for your blog. I look forward to what is going on in your life and your projects remind me of the old me. Please enjoy all of your spunk and energy now while you are young and hopefully untouched by life’s tragedies. Keep doing what you so well do; you entertain so many of us and I wonder if you evenknow it! I hope you have Kevin forever!!!Good luck with your move, Darlin’ and keep writing!!!
