Hello from the Midwest!
Kevin and I made it to Minnesota just in the knick of time for my cousin’s wedding and we’re off on another adventure on the way back home this week. I’m looking forward to blogging all about it in a few days, but in the meantime (and speaking of adventure), I’m excited to share a sneak peek of this month’s Blog Threads t-shirt designs. The first one was designed by my talented friend, Rachel:
I’m going to offer it in three different colors (purple, blue and gray), and three different cuts (unisex, ladies cut crew neck, and ladies cut v-neck), and 20% of the proceeds from the sale of it will go to help the Luke and Katie Murray meet their adoption fundraising goal. I saw a photo Katie posted on Instagram a couple of weeks ago and I felt like God was nudging me to reach out to her about our October fundraiser.
They’re adopting a baby girl (in Florida) that is due in December, and I’m so excited for them! 😀

I’m also offering a second design this month that says, “I am blogger, hear me write!”:
That one will be available in vintage red and heather gray (in all three cuts), and man have I gotten a kick out of seeing folk’s reactions to it when I’m wearing it out and about- LOL! 😀
We don’t have a super strong internet connection where we’re staying right now, so I’m going to keep this post short, but I’ll start the (two day) sale on Thursday morning and it’ll run ’til bedtime on Friday!

I’m curious if you are open to suggestions of families that are adopting. I have a sweet friend that adopted one of Esther’s rommates back in Hong Kong. They have four adopted children and are starting the process on their fifth child. The sweet girl they are adopting doesn’t believe she will ever have a family or that she is beautiful. They are out to prove her wrong on both of those.
Yay! I usually encounter those pesky pop ups when I read on my phone, but there aren’t any today.

I love these t-shirts and I love even more that the proceeds help families to adopt. After years of infertility it’s near and dear to my heart. One of these days I will catch these when they are available. They’re so beautiful and fun that they’re always sold out before I have a chance to get one. Saying prayers that these families will be holding their babies soon.
