**This giveaway has ended. Thanks so much to everyone who entered!**
Y’all know about my friend Lucy’s jewelry, right?

For those that don’t, she makes her creations from architectural salvage and vintage jewelry and I am just crazy about the stuff!

She sent me this necklace recently, and I literally gasped when I first saw it:

Ya see that strand of cream & gold vintage leaves that make up the right side of the chain? My Grandma Evelyn had a necklace just like that, and man does it makes me smile every time I see it. 🙂
Here’s another one of my favorites:

My wedding anniversary is 6/25, so wearing that one makes me extra smiley, too. 🙂

Since Mother’s Day is right around the corner, Lucy and I thought it would be fun to host a Lucy Lockets giveaway here this week!
The person whose name is (randomly) selected can choose any one of Lucy’s pieces (up to $75). You can see all of her beautiful jewelry at Lucys Inspired, and if you’d like to enter for a chance to win one here, just leave a mom-related message in the comment section below this post. It could be a note about being a mom, or a special story about your mom or grandma- anything that you’d like to share to celebrate the upcoming holiday. 🙂
The giveaway will be open until Wednesday, April 30th at 9am (CST) and I’ll include the winner’s name at the end of this Friday’s post. Good luck and happy Monday!

PS- Instagrammers: Lucy’s Instagram feeds (LucysInspired and Lucys_Lockets) are two of my favorites to follow along with, too! 😉

As an adoptive mom to 2 daughters from China, I will always hold my first Mother’s Day close to my heart. I honestly can not wait for your first Mother’s Day holding your sweet P close to YOUR heart!!
I have been blessed with a wonderful mother-in-law. I don’t call her that – she’s simply Mom and has been for the last 17 years. She has changed our family tree – my boys are 5 & 7 and I look forward to welcoming their spouses as my own children someday, just as Mom has me.
I’ll always remember my first Mother’s Day as a mother. I had just miscarried our first baby, and I thought about the fact that I was a mother, even though I didn’t have a baby in my arms. I later went on to birth two babies, miscarry two babies, then birth three more babies. So I have three babies in Heaven and was given five babies to raise. I sincerely treasure every moment. 🙂
Being a mom is the absolute BEST thing in my life next to my relationship with Jesus….and my hubby. So blessed to also have the best mom on the planet. God has been so good!! Thanks for the chance!
Oh, I would love to share one of those beauties with my mom! Happy Mother’s Day, everyone!
my mom allowed me to flap my wings, never once held me back…she trusted me, had faith in me and believed in me from the very beginning…That gave me the courage i needed to be a single mother of 3 and being a one-woman-show for The Strawberry Patch…xo
Beautiful pieces! ‘Twould be a fine Mother’s Day gift!
Love being a mom to 3 boys! Great giveaway…very pretty.
I always dreamed of being a mom and was lucky enough to have one child (though I’d dreamed of more) 🙂 Motherhood is the most wonderfully terrifying experience – the love, worry, fear, joy are overwhelming. It’s a joy and privilege to be a mama.
~love your blog!!!
My mom and I grew up together. We are only 16 years apart but she is my best friend. We have seen each other through so much. I love this jewlery and think its great how she repurposes stuff. If chosen I would pick a piece out that reminds me of my mother / best friend!
A very special Mother’s Day for our family this year. Our youngest daughter is expecting a little girl. We are blessed!
I didn’t think it would happen, but, finally one day I got the title of Mom, and it was the best day ever.
My mother had the best jewelry: Colored pearls, colorful brooches and beautiful hat pins. She is not here anymore and I can remember what her jewelry box looked like – inside and out. I imagine one of my many family members or siblings took her jewelry when she passed. I at least have my memories of her sitting on the side of the bed primping for church and bedazzling herself…how much I loved her!❤️❤️❤️I also love Lucy’s jewelry. I had the pleasure of meeting her at your chapel Market last fall. My friend purchased a chandelier prism necklace. The market was beautiful but I mostly remember how beautiful the spirits of Karri Anne – thistle wood farms and Lucy were.
It’s been so fun to see and learn about the generations of Moms in my family, even more appreciated after I became one!
I love Lucy’s jewelry and so would my Mom! This will be my first Mother’s Day without her. I want to honor her by being as great a Mom to my 2 boys as she was to me.
I can’t imagine not being a mom to my wonderful son. Mother’s Day is a very special day, indeed.
My son (3rd baby) will be celebrating his first birthday on Mother’s Day!
I absolutely love my mom, and feel that one of the highest callings in life is to be called a mom. I am not one yet, however, I cannot wait for the day that I hear my precious one say “mom” to me. I pray about it and dream about it often. Love all those incredible mamas!
These are Beautiful pieces for any Momma!
I lost my mother 2yrs ago on the 23rd of this month. I would to have a piece of Lucy’s jewelry to honor her.
I look forward to wishing you a Happy Mother’s Day VERY soon! You will be an amazing Mama!
Hi
I would love to give my ‘Mother this gift. We nearly lost her just over a year ago. She fell and had complications and slept for 3 months under many great doctors care in AL. She is independent now and doing well after many prayers and love.
Happy Mother’s Day!
Mother’s Day is bittersweet for me. My Mom is suffering from dementia and it is difficult to talk with her and realize she is slipping away. God has blessed us because my daughter is having a child in September. Things will change in the coming year, hopefully my Mom will come to share in our joy. 4 generations. I am blessed.
Being a Mom is the most important job ever. What a privilege!
Love the jewelry and love my children and grandchild – they complete my life! I can’t wait for the day you get to meet your little guy and then bring him home!
I would love to give one to my mama!
So proud to have raised two girls who are now awesome mommies! Also the bonus is being nana to 6 plus one on the way grand babies!
Beautiful! What creativity!
moms who have furry children are moms too! 😉
I’m 44 and engaged to a wonderful man who has a 17 year old daughter. I don’t have children of my own so this will be my very first celebration as a new mom. #soblessed
Oh, my! I have a Grandma Evelyn, too, and she will be 101 on May Day!!!!
She and I share a love of costume nad a-little-bit-fancier jewelry!
Well we all know that life isn’t simple. Circumstances left me to be raised by my father. He played both rolls, that of father and mother. He did the job of raising a very sensitive, artistic, and broken daughter(due to the rejection from my mother)and he did the job so so very wondrfully. Every mother’s day i send him a card just to remind him how much i love him and how much i know he tried his very best to raise me, and he was a wonderful father and mother figure.
Best piece of advice my mom told me about being a mom is to never stop dating your husband because when the kids are out of the house, he will still be there…HA!
My oldest son’s birthday is the same as your anniversary.
There’s no greater joy than to be mom! Happy upcoming Mother’s Day to all the mothers and daughters out there!
My Grandmother’s name was Evelyn too, Layla! 🙂 I love spending Mother’s Day with my mom and now being a mom I love the little things my children make me for Mother’s Day. Very unique & beautiful jewelry…I can see why you love it so!
I love being a mom. It is what I was meant to be. My boys (20 and !4) are the best gift ever. I am so blessed. Happy Mother’s Day!
My Grandma was never without her gold charm bracelet. It had silhouettes of all 14 grandkids with our birth dates engraved on the backs. I Loved sitting on her lap and hearing it jingle.
So thankful for the gift of motherhood!
This will be my 2nd mother’s day. I never knew what a hard job it can be!
My last baby (of 5) will graduate from high school in May! It is time for Mom to have a new piece of jewelry to celebrate!!!
So fun! “Muffins with Moms” at preschool is next week – can’t wait!
I lost my mom 8 years ago. Miss her so much–there are still things I need to ask her!
Happy Mother’s Day! Hope your precious boy will be home with you soon.
I love your blog and have stalked you for some time now. Every Mother’s Day is special to me, my four children are beautiful blessings that I enjoy each and everyday. This Mother’s Day will be bittersweet. On March 12th, just 6 weeks ago, my first blessing passed away at 19 years old. I feel so very fortunate to have had her with me for 19 years, and as I struggle through this Mother’s Day I will be ever thankful for the three healthy children that will be with me and pray for all the mothers out there who have lost a child. God bless you both.
I love being a mom. Fur babies count too!?
One of my favorite memories is paying in my Nana’s jewelry box!
My dear mother passed away one week ago today. She absolutely loved jewelry and would have adored these pieces. I would love to win and pick out something in her memory!
If I can be 1/2 as strong as my mom, 1/2 the mother she is, 1/2 the wife she was to my dad… I’ll be the best I can be!
