Well, I was hoping to be over this cold by now, but not only is it still completely rockin’ my world- I woke up with pink eye yesterday, too. And by pink “eye”, I mean pink eyes. Sheesh! Anywho, I’ve been trying my hardest to take it easy. Resting, reading…all that good stuff. Yesterday, I e-read Handmade Walls, by our local friends, Ashley and Jamin Mills…
I knew those two were creative…

…but man it was cool to see how they break down the methods to their magnificence, step-by-step style!
Their e-book walked me through the creation of 22 different projects. Each of them varied slightly in cost-to-make and level of difficulty, and each of them had it’s own nifty name. One of my favorites is the Stanley. Here’s a sneak peek…

And here’s a sneak peek at some of the other goodies included in their book:

When I was finished reading it, I texted Ashley to see if I could purchase another copy to give away here today. She said yes (yay!), so if you’d like to enter for a chance to win, just leave a comment on this blog post (email subscribers will need to visit TheLetteredCottage.net to enter), and I’ll randomly select a winner at 10pm (CST) on Sunday night. (May 12, 2013)
Good luck and happy weekend!

PS- Alabama peeps: Ashley and Jamin are having a yard sale on May 18th!

Love it! Thanks for the sneak peek.
Yeah… thanks so much for the giveaway, but i’m more excited for the chance to say that I recently found your blog and I’ve been going through all of your archives and just falling in love with you guys. You are the cutest and have such amazing talent… it’s been a serious thrill reading about all you do, <3

Would love to win their e-book. I have been a follower of their blog for quite some time now. Love your blog and hope you are feeling better soon.
I NEED a copy of this book. Love her style sooo much.
LOVE the frame-within-a-frame-within-a-frame…
I’m loving these frames. I dont have the budget to put into art for my walls. I have black picture frames with pictures that I have been wanting to put on the walls, but I feel as if my house will look like a shrine to my little boys by just using those black frames all over the house. I think these frames are a great way to add a little “art” while still displaying my boys and not looking like a crazy mom!
What a nice Mothers’ Day gift!
what a great giveaway! thanks for hosting.
Hope you feel better soon!
Love the pictures from Handmade Walls. My favorite is the “Yummy” over the kitchen cabinets!
