Four Old Navy Finds I Had To Have

Jul 25, 2017 By Layla

Well, I took those blister-rubbin’ boots I told you about back to DSW today. When the clerk asked me my reason for the return, I told him the heels were just too high. He laughed, but man the struggle is real as we get older, isn’t it ladies? 😀

At least the rest of what I bought that day was comfy:

That was from my Instagram Stories and here are the pieces I went home with, in case you’re interested:

(On Sale- $15)

(On Sale – $37)

(On Sale- $12)

That last t-shirt is SO comfortable. I think I’ve worn it like four times this week already. (Shhh!) I have the olive green one, but I’m going to make sure to grab the heather gray and the white before they’re gone and only $12!

I ended up taking this one back:

But only because I ended up liking the v-neck top better.

QUICK LINKS:

But enough about cute new clothes. I’ll be sporting just the opposite today so I can give our dresser a makeover. This is my inspiration:

Isn’t it gorgeous?! Here’s a link to Marian’s tutorial about it: How I Hand Painted The Mora Dresser

I hope to share my progress with you on Friday! 🙂

Lovely clothes. However, there is a picture ad after each of your outfits! How can I get rid of them? It is distracting to read. Thanks.

Oh, those are my employers spaces. That’s what keeps the content free and how Mama keeps the lights on around here- LOL! 🙂

Love Old Navy and love your picks/finds. The only thing I don’t like about Old Navy are the dressing room mirrors… I think they used cheap mirrors, they make you look distorted. And when I say “you”, I mean “me”..haha!

When I was younger, I wore 2-4″-ers regularly, no problem. One day, (before I knew I had terrible depth perception & needed glasses), I stepped off a curb onto the street so hard that the wooden platform of my sandal broke! The hairline fracture in my foot healed, but years later, I started having pain every time I wore any shoes with heels over 1″. I can wear them for about 15-20 minutes, then it becomes too hard to walk through the pain. So, no more heels for me. It’s hard, because some dresses look “wrong” with flat shoes, no matter how cute the flats. Oh, well, at least, I can still walk!
We shop alike. I just bought a jean jacket and a cute, white sweater- because, it won’t always be summer… You look good in the items you bought. Of course, you always look good.

Ouch! That sounded painful! 🙁 The jean jacket and white sweater sound super cute though! 🙂

Please tell me about the sandals you have on in the ON video? I am looking for something flat and cute!
PS…love the idea of you posting fashion posts! You always look so cute 🙂

Thank you, Kate! 🙂 And I believe I got those sandals at Target last summer. XO

Yes, heels are no longer my friend. I’m in Florida, so flip flops are my daily wear. I can’t believe I used to go to an office every day in high heels, for YEARS. HA!
