I’m searching for a rug to use underneath the table Kevin and I work at our computers on, and boy was I pleasantly surprised at Birch Lane’s selection. I had never thought to look there for a rug before, but I stumbled onto a photo of one and proceeded to go down a rabbit hole once I landed on their site! Here are some of my favorites:
That one also comes in several rectangular sizes!
Black and White Buffalo Check:
That one comes in a few different sizes too!
Aren’t those fun? 😀 I’m still completely undecided about what style/shape I want to use, but I sure did have a good time e-lookin! 😀

Where is the Black and Check rug from? No link……
Here ya go! 🙂 Black and White Rug
Pretty. but what ever happened to the rugs you designed? Seems like I saw one went into production but the one that looked like an old merchantile sign I never saw….did I miss it?? Thanks Geri
I was wondering the same thing. I have wanted to purchase since the first time I saw it. If it’s available for purchase, where can I go to do so?
I love rugs that are very subtle. Blue tradional is gorgeous as is the gray and white antique. Birch has beautiful items. 😊
Birch Lane is “THE BOMB”!
Any recs for more affordable large sized rugs?? I was sooo excited when I saw the first rug in this post…beyond perfect for our dining room…but $800+ is way out of our budget 😢
HomeGoods! They’ve got the best selection of affordable rugs in my opinion! 🙂
I, too, am wondering and waiting for the Old Mercantile rug that you designed. Can’t wait and hope I didn’t miss it?
Hi! Rumor has it they’ll be released in November! 😀 I should have some samples to show next week! XO
Awesome!!
I love the blue and white rug! I may just have to get one of those for my place!
Hey there, Layla! In your search for a fav rug for this area, don’t forget that chairs, especially ones that you will be using so very much, are quite hard on rugs. The woven type rugs will not hold up as well as the others you have shown us here. Unless you plan on using the office type heavy duty plastic floor/rug protectors, which I think is highly unlikely, lol! Anyway, just food for thought. Sometimes we look at the beauty of an item and not of it’s function. Thanks for sharing all those beauties!
Oh, I alllllways look at function too. Especially since I became a mama…and am in my 40s! LOL!
