Have you met my friend, Erin?
She’s been loving a little beach cottage back to life lately, and I wanted to share her latest project here today…
To read about how she did it, click on over to her lovely blog: Rare and Beautiful Treasures. She’s got lots more cottage-y updates in works, and I can’t wait to see how it all comes together!

Morning Layla!
I sure can relate to this renovation project…I have been blessed with my childhood home (lol my hubby has been known to say,” cursed”) anywhoo we painted the paneling in the kitchen and I love it but it was a challenge since my folks smoked all their lives. Thanks for your and Kevin’s real blog.
Blessings,
Retta
The stairway with that golden star-studded runner is stunning! I can’t wait to check it out! Thanks!
I was so excited about this post tonight. My husband and I have been talking about buying a lake cabin in the town where I grew up. We’ve been peaking inside several fixer-uppers lately, all that I can envision to be wonderful with a little TLC. I always take so much inspiration from your home, and tonight you’ve given me even more. So fun. 🙂
Wow, she is making this cottage come back to life.. how joyful and fun! Great job~

Layla, i want to thank you for introducing me to the Mermaid cottages and Tybee Island, we just got back and we had a wonderful time. We live in Atlanta and always vacation in Fl, we loved our first trip to the GA coast. We stayed in the Save The Whales cottage. But while biking to the lighthouse we found the enlisted mens cottage that you decorated and the nice people staying there let me in for a peak. Beautiful! I follow your blog and love your ideas, THANK YOU for sharing your Tybee adventure!
I’ve really enjoyed following Erin’s blog! She has such a gift with sharing her story and her home.
