Wow! What a great post as we look toward a new year! Love this as gauge for evaluating how my time is best spent, how my thoughts get dragged to the unimportant. Thank you!

Wow, this was exactly what I needed to hear today. Thank you for sharing!

So so true Layla! After cancer (my case) you definitely realize that it’s the HEART that’s important. I love that you shared this. It’s a reminder for the new year to maybe pull back a little from the things that aren’t so “important”. I still find myself scrolling aimlessly on social media (mainly to keep up with trends, clothes, house decor). It’s fun and super helpful when building a house and takes me out of the serious nature of my cancer (for those reading, I’m NED-no evidence of disease but will always be stage IV because it had spread-so I receive maintenance treatments every three weeks. One thing that I’ve been sure to tell others is : Things that used to be a big deal to me aren’t anymore. Things that weren’t a big deal are huge.

Heidi,
I am sorry you have had cancer. I am so glad to hear you are NED. Will you have to receive treatments for the rest of your life or just for a shorter period of time? Also you didn’t mention what type cancer you had? If you still choose not to tell I understand. I said a prayer for you and wish you a Wonderful 2018!
Layla
