Fall And Winter Decorating

Oct 18, 2015 By Layla

Whew! Last week was a wild one! ? Kevin and I worked together with a handful of our friends/neighbors on a Christmas-themed photoshoot for the very first issue of Belong magazine. (It comes out mid-November, and you can find more information about it here if you’re interested:

Belong-Mag.com.) It felt a little strange trimming a tree and decking the halls in October, but what a fun opportunity to hang out with some of our favorite peeps!

We decorated the living and dining rooms for the (winter) article, and I “Fall-ified” the front porch the week before last, so we’ve got a couple of different looks going on around here right now- ha! ? I can’t share the Christmas pics, but here’s a peek at the porch:

The cow bell was a gift from my friend, Traci, and I picked up the “gather” rug at Target for $12. The mums and pumpkins came from the curbside market downtown. I love that it only takes a few of each and BOOM: Fall-ified! ?

Love the gather doormat. I figured you stenciled it yourself. Great to know I can just go and buy it.

    Layla,

I really like how nice and simple the Fall decorations on you front porch look. Clean and festive. Thanks for sharing.
