I got mine at Lowes, and I LOVE them.
They were $9.99 per dropcloth, and they each measure 6 feet wide by 9 feet tall!
All four sides come pre-hemmed, so unless you need to alter the height, they are ready-to-hang.
I’m going to add some sort of trim to the edges of mine to customize them, and give them some personality.

I love their heaviness, and the little flecks of tan and brown in them…
They’re washable too. I washed mine, and hadn’t yet ironed them before I took these photos. Please excuse all the wrinkles!
They look great flanking my new linen press. (I have officially decided to call it that because I love the way it sounds so much):

(By the way, I’m stripping all eighty layers of paint off that apple green back door and staining it walnut in the near future!)
Oh! Speaking of the linen press- I borrowed the lamp I use in my Reading Room to see what it would be like to have a lamp on top of it.
This lamp is too small to use here, but I loved the warm glow it created in the Dining Room tonight. Definitely need to get a permanent lamp in here soon!
I made the seashell lamp from an old 1950’s lamp I spray painted white. I glued on shells I picked up in Pensacola, and from Michaels. Never throw a lamp away because you think it’s ugly! Any lamp can always be revitalized.
I take that back.
I love these…I am going to use these for my screened porch. Could you tell me how many drapery rings you used for each panel?
Oh, I remember that lamp. I think it was a blessing when it broke. That was one of my favorite parts of the movie.

We only had those up for a short period of time a couple of years ago, and I don’t remember if I washed them or not before I took them down- LOL! 😀 I bet they would shrink up a bit though, so it’s better to be safe than sorry and wash them first!

I used a dropcloth from Lowe’s for a floorcloth. It had a not-so-pleasant odor, so I replaced it with a sheet of vinyl flooring. Maybe the smell would have washed out, but it was too large for my washing machine.
BTW, Lowe’s now has curtain rods that have a track and clips. I am using them, and love them!

I bought the drop cloths last weekend so when I get home from my business trip I will do the installation! thanks for the inspiration. I love this idea, but I’m worried they’ll look bunchy with two on one rod. Even if I have one on each end. I was thinking about hanging these on our lanai sliding glass door that our dogs use to go outside with. I think they’re wonderful and practical for wear and tear(: any ideas to prevent the rod from looking heavy?(:
