Happy Friday, friends!
I thought I’d share this week’s “Let’s Go!” video here today…along with photos of the project I worked on when I got home that day.

Craft stores are definitely my favorite place to do my Let’s Go series because they allow me to really create. Decorating with stuff that is done is fun, but decorating with stuff that I make is what really floats my boat! 🙂
Here are some photos from my door decor project:
I love that the straps were removable!
These sprigs were just labeled “Berry Bush”:
…and these were labeled “Ruscus Bush”:
I would recommend using floral foam (Oasis) down in the bottom of the basket to keep the arrangement nice and sturdy.
I ended up skipping the greenery from our yard and I love how sweet and simple it looks hanging on our front door.
Like I mentioned in my video, I love how berries feel sort of “every season”, and I think they make a great alternative to a flower, which many of us wouldn’t see growing outside right now.
Oh! And just in case someone is curious: I got the cow bell from my friend Traci who found it somewhere in Kentucky. Here’s a link to the same one: Cow Doorbell
The sconces and front door came with our house, so I’m not sure about the sources on those, and the color of our house is Simply White by Benjamin Moore and our door color is Caviar by Sherwin Williams.
Thanks for swinging by today, y’all…and hope you have a great weekend!

Loved watching you gather this greenery & the basket on your Insta-stories! The result is beautiful!! Would you mind sharing about the command hook and which one you used for glass or the wood frame in the window of your door??? I would love not having a “hanger”over the door❣️
Layla
Thanks, Kary! It’s just a large, clear command hook. They’re removable and work great! 🙂

This was one of my favorite! That basket is fantastic . . . Did you find those sprigs in the “greens” section at HL? I not think I’ve ever seen those there . . . Just L💗VE this series and you darling girl . . .
Have a wonderful weekend!

Thank you Layla for your ideas. Loved the bunny centerpiece and the hanging basket for the door. You are just adorable. Thanks for doing these videos.

How many of each bush did you purchase?
Layla
Two! 🙂

Cute ideas! I love the basket on your front door. Every time I put up a wreath outside with berries on it, the birds come and try to eat them! Occasionally I will open the door, and they fly inside! A riot ensues trying to get them back outside! LOL!

Forgot to say I loved the “washtub” idea as a planter!

So cute! I love the berry basket..and you were thinking outside the wreath:D I have never seen those type of blueberries here in the Great White North.
I bought some real berry bushes last summer housed in plastic light blue pots with cute lettering, once planted I knew I would use them for decor..now to find the same kind of berry bushes..
Thanks Layla for keeping us inspired !
Miranda
Cute! I wonder how you attached the basket to your door? Ahh Command hook – I watched the video! ;D

love the “let’s Go” videos – look forward to them, and then plan out my errands accordingly! I found most of the items at my local HL – did the hanging basket come from there, as well? No luck. 🙁
