Hello! It’s Wednesday! That means it’s time to share a few of the photos that stopped me in my scroll on Instagram this past week!
Now that is creative! What a fun way to create a “crate”! Here’s a link to Allison’s inspiring site: TheFestiveFarmhouse.com
2. @DesignsByKaran:
Karan’s kitchen is such a delight! Just looks at that wood & white…and that pitched, planked ceiling…and that arched window above the sink! Here’s a link to her beautiful blog: @DesignsByKaran.com
That range! What a beauty! The caption said it was a Café™ brand appliance, so I clicked through to see how much the gas version would cost. Turns out, they’re about $3500 (the electric version pictured above is $2500) so I guess I’ll just be admiring them for a while. 😉
4. @PierceAndWard:
Ya know that scene in the Stepbrothers movie where Will Ferrell’s character and John C. Reilly’s characters look at each other and ask, “Did we just become best friends?“. That’s how I felt when I saw that photo of Lily’s Aldridge’s kitchen. 🙂 What a feast for the eyes! You’ve gotta see the wider angle photo of it too. Here’s a link to the Architectural Digest article: Lily’s Bohemian 1930s Tudor Revival
Sara’s photos always feel like a breath of fresh air. Just look at that gorgeous 1926 Louisiana cottage she’s restoring! She’s got a super fun blog too: Simple Southern Cottage

Thanks again for swinging by this week! I love sharing these posts with you on Wednesdays because like my Instagram bio says, “I like stringing words, and pictures, and people together“. I hope you met a new e-friend or two here today and I look forward to catching up with you in the comments!

Oh, how I wish we were not quarantined and I could talk you into a new project, “Eclectic decorating in Eclectic, Alabama! I have followed your post for years, through adoption and your “video shopping” and all your other interests. I think you have the sweetest spirit. You were so encouraging to me when I was my parents’ care-giver. My mom had Alzheimer’s disease. Even though I am still working, I stayed nights and weekends with my parents. I would not trade those moments for anything but my house suffered. I was too tired to organize and declutter. Now that my parents are in their heavenly home, I don’t know where to begin! One small step at a time!
Love your post!
I think half the people I follow on Instagram are because of these photos you share. Thanks so much.
Thank YOU for visiting me here, Lynn! 😀
I can not tell you how happy I am that you brought back this series of “Photos That Stopped Me In My Scroll”!
I have been needing some good old fashioned Eye Candy lately, and these posts bring me so much inspiration and joy 🙂 Thank You!
Thanks for sharing, Layla! These are so fun, and I don’t think I’ve ever said thank you to you before. Have a blessed day!
