5 Instagram Photos That Stopped Me In My Scroll

Mar 27, 2019 By Layla

Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my scroll while I was perusing Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s picks!

1. @KateWalker_Design:

Hubba! Hubba! What a feast for the eyes! So fresh and clean.

2. @MattHillProjects–

I found Matt’s feed by clicking through one of Kate Walker’s photos. He makes the neatest sculptures! You can see all of them at MattHillProjects.com

3. @FarmhouseFilledWithKids:

Nichole has the coziest farmhouse! Doesn’t this picture just make you want to step right through? 😀

4. @JamiLancasterDesign:

Isn’t that beautiful? Jami’s caption read, “How do you get kids to eat more fruits and veggies? Make them visible! I follow a WFPB (whole foods plant-based) diet which is essentially a Vegan diet. Needless to say, we eat A LOT of fruits and veggies. So much so, that I constantly ran out of room in our refrigerator and the kids often couldn’t see the nutritious snacks because they were buried behind a solid door. Well, that all changed in the Farmhaus! We built a temperature-controlled room behind a sealed glass door to display these healthy snacks! I wash all of the produce before intentionally displaying them in a way that makes our kids mouths water! Not only is this an easy way for them to help themselves to a snack but it encourages healthy eating habits too“. Here’s a link to her site: JamieLancasterDesign.com

5. @MichelleDirkse:

Stunning! I especially like the hardware and hex tile floor! Click here to see more of this beautiful historic Seattle home: Seattle Historic Revival

Hope you’re having a great week, y’all!

PS- Congrats to Julie Michelle who is the winner of the surprise I mentioned on Instagram the other day! I’ll email you later today! 😀

I absolutely love the Farmhouse style. These pictures are awesome.
Question: We are in the process of building a barndominium out in the country in Texas.
I would love to decorate with the farmhouse trend. My only thoughts about it is I wonder if its too trendy and will be out of style too soon. What are your thoughts about it?

Trends, schmends. A look that *you* love will never go out of style! 🙂
