5 Instagram Photos That Stopped Me In My Scroll

Oct 24, 2018 By Layla

Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my scroll while I was perusing Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s picks!

1. TheFestiveFarmhouse:

I love what Allison did with that gauzy “cobweb” material there! The whole vignette is so fun! 😀 Here’s a link to her inspiring site: The Festive Farmhouse

2. @GenevieveGorder–

If you want to see more of Genevieve’s fabulous design work, check out Stay Home on Netflix. It’s one of my new favorite shows!

3. @HouseOnWinchester

Goodness I love the fixtures, finishes and color palette here! Here’s a link to Danelle’s super fun site: House On Winchester

4.@Brittney_Rupert–

Brittney’s is one of my absolute favorite feeds to follow because her design aesthetic is so fun and inviting! Click here to see a full tour of her fabulous kitchen: BabblingBritt.com

5. @AddisonsWonderland:

Wow! Look at that backsplash! What a gorgeous way to make a statement in the kitchen. Here’s a link to her beautiful website: AddisonsWonderland.com

Happy Wednesday!

Layla

I watched that Stay Here on Netflix but what I didn’t like was that 1. they don’t share how much the improvements cost because yes, my house could be absolutely fabulous too if I had an amazing budget and 2. they don’t follow up with how much did rentals increase.

Oh, I didn’t care how much the improvements cost because it was just fun to see one of my favorite creative geniuses at work! Also, every idea can always be recreated for less, so I just use them as inspiration. That’s what they’re there for! 🙂 And as for #2, that hadn’t even crossed my mind! I guess because we likely won’t stay in any/many of them, and I feel certain the rent went up because they all turned out SO fabulously! 😀

That historic home in Hudson New York totally stole my heart. Loved the series so much I watched it twice!

Genevieve doesn’t have to dust it but it is certainly a show stopper

Oh how I love these posts…and Instagram! Its the best inspiration and you really do get to know the girls, which makes it personal much like blogs. I love Genevieve and she always nails it. I also follow House On Winchester and their Stories are hilarious!

I just did some open barn wood open shelving in the kitchen at my lakehouse, if you’d like to scroll through my IG feed (!!!), Blondiesjournal.

    Love ya, Layla!

I love the skinny shelves in the house on Winchester picture! So cute!
