Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my scroll while I was perusing Instagram the previous week. Here are this week’s picks!
1. LizMarieGalvan:
Liz’s kitchen is just like a breath of fresh air. I love the way she mixes whites and woods. Here’s a link to her awesome blog: LizMarieBlog.com
More luscious whites and woods. I love the pops of black and green too! Here’s a link to an article about Jamie’s kitchen. It’s to die for too: Whitetail Farmhouse
3. @TheCobblersShopOnConcord –
I love pops of red and navy with those whites and woods too! 🙂
Green looks great with ’em too!
I *had* to include the caption on this one:
“It was almost 6:30 in the morning, and I had risen early to try to catch the first light of the sun. In Mykonos, this is when you’re most likely to meet the last of the club-goers from the night before — dancers drunk-walking in the narrow alleys of Chora, or lovers embracing near the waves of Little Venice. I took it all in. I then came across a lovely woman with gray hair standing on her small balcony. She shouted “Good morning!” to me in Greek. From that greeting, we started talking and she asked me about my life in the Netherlands. She explained that she had traveled all around the world and considered herself lucky and happy because of it. I asked if I could take a photo of her, and she answered, humorously: “Are you sure? Look at me! There are so many other young and beautiful women on this island to take pictures of!” I then replied, saying, “But you will always be ‘Miss Happiness’ in my memory and in my heart.” Maybe that’s why I don’t remember her real name.”

Happy Wednesday!

I have a question I can never get the answer to anywhere it seems.
(sample from the Whitetail Farmhouse kitchen). I always see these beautiful warm/natural & slightly rustic open shelving everywhere in farmhouse design. What wood is used? Please, please tell me. I have so much stuff I want to build with this look.
Your guess is as good as mine! I just look for the tone I’m after…I rarely know what *type* of wood it is.
Oh, to be remembered as Miss Happiness!
Right?! 😀
Ah…remembering our visit to Mykonos sveral years ago. So charming. We were there in September after the crowds left. The locals thought weather was “cool”, but it felt like summer to us. Perfect.
white with green, black and wood….my favorite combination!
