Hello! Each Wednesday I share some of the photos that stopped me in my tracks while I was scrolling Instagram the previous week. This week’s pics are all from @CheapOldHouses‘ feed. Have you seen it? So much fun to follow!
You can click through any of the city and state names in this post to see the insides of these (incredible) houses!
2. Wells, MN:
That one is located in the same town my uncles, aunts and cousins live near. If only I had an extra $80K laying around! 😀
I think they must be getting ready to work on the outside of that one because you will not believe what the inside looks like!
4. Harmony, MN:
Another Southern Minnesota home I’d love to spend part of the year in! 😀
This one is in such great shape. And almost 3000 square feet- WOW!

So much fun to look at these old homes. They could all be loved back to life.

S.E. Minnesota would love to have you visit! Harmony and Lanesboro have beautiful older homes and wonderful country scenery. Love your blog and have been following for years. From one Minnesota girl to another😀

Hey Layla! I live on a farm near Wells, MN. You should totally buy that beautiful house and then we could be neighbors! 😉

I’m tempted to move from Texas to Minnesota. Did I just say that?

Would love to live in a town called, “Harmony”! I would re-do the kitchen, laundry room, and do some exterior sprucing-up, and still spend way less than something similar in the Pacific NW. Although, still way more money than I have:-) Thanks for the eye candy.

We live pretty close to Lexington, MO and I’ve done some paintings of the beautiful old historic homes there.

I love looking at the old homes website! I’ve often wondered why such gorgeous homes are priced the way they are? Are they in less than desirable neighborhoods? Do they need a lot of work? My dream has always been to own an old historic home in a quaint but vibrant little town. Location, location. I think that is why they are priced the way they are.

The house you shared from Harmony, MN is a really cool house. My husband and I looked at it and it is very pretty. We lived in Lanesboro MN at the time. Just thought it was so neat that you shared this home, small world!

Have you seen the DIY channel series “Rustic Renovation”? It’s about the Jurgensen brothers who renovate cabins and homes in Minnesota! They grew up there and love to work there! I’ve only seen two episodes but it’s really fun! You might enjoy it! I always think of you when I hear anything about Minnesota! 😉
